Christmas Vacation will go down as one of the greatest and funniest Christmas movies ever. Chevy Chase stars as Clark Griswald, a husband and father who will do anything he can to make sure his family will have the best "old-fashioned family Christmas" ever by spending the holiday at home and inviting all the grandparents over, which results in some crazy humorous shenanigans. But when Cousin Eddie and his family arrives, unexpectedly, the fun really gets going and everything that can go wrong, does, with some very funny results. The long-awaited 4K released of this movie has improved picture quality, but the film's age shows film grain and occasional jitter, which can be distracting. Overall, the picture is still solid and the 5.1 DTS-HD MA sountrack is generally good but not great. If you love this Christmas classic, this 4K release is the way to go.

A wonderful 4K movie with great picture and sound. Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid, Doris Roberts, John Randolph, Julia Louis Dreyfuss, Jennifer Lewis and a young Johnny Galecki wonderful cast in a very funny holiday movie enjoyed the laughs.

This is a great movie and looks excellent in ultra high-def. Looks much better than on any streaming service. The lack of compression makes the image look nice and sharp plus the audio sounds fantastic.

This movie is great in a 4k format, buy physical. There are no comparisons to owning a disc versus streaming it. No color banding , no pixelation from speed throttling and no one is going to come to your house and take it away from you.
