I bought this to use in my car for apple carplay because they say you need a "high quality cable". It stopped working after a week and barely charges my phone on and off anymore.

Why pay good money for the Apple product cord, when you can get buy a more durable, charge faster, and lengthier? And it last longer!!! Cost just as much as the Apple original cord but better in every way.

I have a couple of these and my daughter keeps wearing out hers so I got her one. They last much longer and are more expensive, but I won't have to replace it as much as the other ones.

The length of this cord is great for in the car. My grandsons can reach it all the way to the back seat when there is not a connector in the back. Very durable cord.

I've had numerous problems with Apple cords over the years, becoming frayed or the wires breaking inside the charging cord. These cords are expensive but last along time.

Had a flakey cable in the car for Apple car play. It became dangerous to deal with while driving. This cable has kept solid connection so far. I thought the leather strap was just a frill but it works quite well to keep the excess length under control.

I didn't really want a charging cable that was this living but I found that the leather strap with snap closure helps hold the cable wrapped up when I don't need the full length. The cable is well built and very flexible and stays plugged in when moving around.
