    Fits in the coat closet

I am able to get a great, sweaty cardio workout in my own studio apt without needing to pay for a gym membership or take a long bus journey. I was thankful for the measurements provided in the specs because I wanted an exercise bike that could be stored in my coat closet in between uses. I knew it would fit and it does perfectly. The resistance levels are more than enough and it changes quickly when you want. I rarely go up to a level 12, mostly stay around 7 and 9. Also I don’t do more than 20 minutes since I also incorporate body weight circuits and some dumbbell exercises as well. Great addition and perfect for my needs. It’s not the fanciest machine, but it is still effective and better than other more basic bike machines. I have been using it at least every other day with no issues, the seat doesn’t really bother me that much to feel like I need a better seat cushion, maybe bc I already have cushion? Lol also I don’t use any of the programs, I just plug it in, and press QuickStart and then I werk out right away. I put it all together with a few challenges but I completed it with the help of the instructions provided. The hardest part was connecting the long neck to the base but it is very helpful with a partner to help hold it while I connected the wires and added the screws (oh you’ll see).

I'm pretty sure that I got a returned item - the screws were stripped and there are scratches all over. I did attempt to reach Best Buy - but got no response. I guess the price is good - and it does work so I gave it two stars. It may have been five had I received a new item.

    Fun way to rehab

    Posted .

My doctor suggested getting an exercise bike as a safe way to rehab from several leg and foot surgeries. I picked up Nautilus U616 because it was on sale at an awesome price and is a well known brand. Best Buy delivered the bike to my home. Was able to put together slowly within 2 hours. The bike itself is very well made. All the part are heavy duty. It's built like a tank. It is a bit hard to move the bike around even with the wheels. Ended getting a mat / rug to put under it. It's easier to slide the bike around on smooth floor with the mat, than trying to move using the wheels. The manual is very vague on how to set up the bike for use. However found a video on youTube for Schwinn that showed how setup a similar product. I used that video to help setup up the U616 Nautilus. (Nautilus, Schwinn and Bowflex are all owned and made by the same company. Most items work together or similar, that includes apps.) Ive used mainly the built in programs for my rehab and so far very impressed with the U616. The added usb and fan are very nice additions I really like having. The instructions are not great, so at first I did not understand how to tighten down seat. Need to only tighten one nut on seat. I tried both and all I was loosening it. I did come across a video on putting the bike together that did help. Using the internet and youTube does help in setting up this bike. Overall I very happy with this buy. This is way cheaper than paying for medical rehab or gym membership on the road to recovering. I would suggest this product to others. It is a very fun way to rehab and workout. The Programs are awesome and fun. Only thing I do not like, is some of the apps mentioned with this product are no longer available for all platforms. And the ones I did find are under the Bowflex name (which again is part of the Nautilus brand, but it's still confusing.) The company needs to better brand products together and make it easier to find and use.

This bike replaced a five year old Proform 230U. This bike is much quieter than the old machine, though it does not feel as natural. Seems like this one has a lighter flywheel. Other than that I like this machine so far. It has some basic history functionality for up to four users. There are several preset programs that are useful to get some variety. There several other programs, e.g., "fitness test" that the manual does not explain how to use. I like the fact that the handle bars are adjustable so that one can change how much forward one wants to lean, You do have to be near an electrical outlet - within 4-5 feet. In summary, I have used the bike about 15 times and it has performed satisfactorily.

Bought this bike as a gift and it's received good marks so far. I did try it out myself and can say I'm happy with the purchase. The seat feels really soft to the touch, but after being on it for a while I've decided it could use a gel cover to make it a bit more comfy. It was relatively easy to put together and it's suitable if you're 5' tall, 6' tall, or anything in between. It's great that you can go blue tooth for exercise programs or use what's already on the bike. The fan is also a nice plus. The only thing I'd like is a slightly lower position to place your phone, ipad, or book. Other than that, it's a great buy.

I bought it 7 weeks ago. It took us less than one hour to assemble it without any issue (I do have a technical background). Everything needed is provided and well organized. While not overwhelming, the instructions are clear and easy to understand. The assembled bike is sturdy and feel solid / well balanced. Seat adjustments are easy and provide for a wide size range (I am 6'10, my wife 5'5 and we cover about half of the adjustment range). The handle bar is nicely shaped and provides for a variety of positions. We are happy about the variety of exercise programs available on the machine, we did not try the app. yet. Both of us like the feel of the electrical brake and its smooth operation. And... yes, the set is well padded.

The Nautilus - U616 Upright Exercise Bike is a nice piece of equipment. The build quality is good, and it is easy to use. The seat adjusts nicely and is comfortable. I had purchased an exercise bike from another store that cost almost 4 times more and it broke within two weeks of use. I have had this exercise bike for over 10 months, and it is still going strong. If you're looking for an exercise bike without spending a lot of money and don't need the bells and whistles of the more expensive models, this is the one you should buy.

We bought this unit after trying a Pro Form bike that we returned to Costco due to the rotational noise it made. This bike is completely quiet and functions well for the pricing. It's not a high end bike with lots of options but it functions well enough for our needs. I can adjust the friction so as to be able to stand on the crank for the hill climbs. I'm 150# and 5'9" and the bike fits both myself and my shorter wife just fine. I could wish that the seat would tilt fore and aft for a little more comfort but it's not the end of the world and the seat is padded nicely. Also, it would be nice to be able to customize the display for certain parameters but that can't happen on this model. I'm surprised how well the heartbeat monitor works. Not much variation for me in the programs so I mostly use the manual mode.

A really good quality exercise bike at a reasonable price. subscribe. Easy to assemble. Doesn't have the fancy big screen, but its quiet, stable and has plenty of exercise options. Also has an option to follow various videos mirrored via a tablet or phone on your TV, six for free and more if you choose to subscrbe.

As a general piece of workout equipment, it gets the job done. Resistance levels work fine, the fan is nice. The construction is just passable, though. The unit is creaky, and at times you'll be wondering if this is the day it'll fall apart on you. I read another review on here stating that the seat was not comfortable, and chose to ignore it, but boy do I regret that. You will need a cushion.

Fan is a but weak. Seat is a bit hard. If your an average to short girl you can't lean far on the handles for long bc too far away. Can't reverse with any resistance. However the ride is smooth.

I love this bike! I was lucky to have found this on sale. Being a total tech member I was also able to have to delivered and set up for me free of charge. The bike is sturdy and gives me all I wanted in an exercise bike. I am recovering from foot and ankle surgery and this has been very an excellent source of rehab for me.

This bike is excellent! It's quite, smooth and packed with technology. I look forward to my workouts on it. It's very robust and handles my 250 pounds easily. Only one thing that I believe can be approved, the seat could have more cushion for us lean booty people. But, I can live with that. I just added a gel cushioned seat cover. I recommend this bike without any reservations!

This bike is not top of the line but it is a decent a nice bike for your exercise or weight loss endeavors. The bike offers a stable smooth ride that is highly customizable and the predetermined tracks are fun. You can set caloric, time or mile goals. I recommend you set up your rider profile to keep track of your stats, this serves as a motivation feature to break your own records. Only gripe is that it doesn't have backwards pedaling with I would have liked a lot.

I purchased the Nautilus U616 exercise bike after review a number of models. I was unable to test the bike before purchase because Best Buy didn't have them on display. It was fairly easy to assemble, but would have been easier if I had a second person helping. The monitor is easy to use and the bike is small and stable. On the negative I haven't been able to connect my heart rate monitor chest strap to it yet. It is a Garmin monitor and it should work, but so far the bike has not detected it. For the most part the ride is smooth and quiet, but at times I do hear a clunking sounds when pedaling the bike. I have only used the bike 23 times so far and the clunking only occurs occasionally on each ride. I'm not sure if it is me or the bike. Otherwise the bike does what I wanted.
