I bought this game after the extreme disappointment of purchasing it on PC and finding out how dead the MP lobbies are. Rampant cheating have made the PC side impossible to enjoy anything other than a single player offline experience. The Xbox version in comparison is great. All the gameplay I enjoyed with the added benefit of a pretty much always bustling lobby means I can hop in for a Mypark fix whenever it suits me. I am subtracting a star because while the game is very good, the MyPark experience still screams of pay to win. If you want to have a CHANCE of being picked up to run with strangers you need to be at least an 80. Grinding through the game to get that high of a rating will take months of any normal persons gaming time - and by that time youll just be PASSABLE. In order to have a shot against the better players you need higher ratings, plus the badges. If you want that now, youll have to factor about 35 extra bucks worth of VC points into your equation. Overall, I do recommend the game for any person who is a fan of basketball, but this slow but steady bleed of peoples wallets is getting old at this point. Leaving the VC out of it I have never played a better basketball game on a console.

This is a great title, all the players represented. Expandable with go live. Your family, even the non basketball fans will love it. It's a great time on the court. Bought this for my son, but we all enjoy this one. Makes a great gift. Believe me

My 11 year old has all but worn this game out. He loves the online play. The game is starting to glitch a little as it gets older but he always manages to find a way with help online to get it up and running again. Quick, smooth play with fast internet. No lag.

After playing NBA 2k15 and NBA 2k16, I can see and appreciate the improvement in most areas! The game-play still has some minor flaws, but this can be easily forgotten when you find yourself caught up in the action of this wonderful simulation and -without a doubt- best sports game on the market! The depth is stunning, so many modes and aspects to explore, you might spend the entire year until NBA 2k18 hits the shelves just going through the different parts the game offers. Regarding the game-play changes: the focus is more on defense now, steal mechanics are changed and passes get picked off a lot easier (which can be frustrating at times), running fast-breaks is a lot harder now as someone always seems to get in your way (even when you're going coast-to-coast with fast ball-handlers) and there is actually a real chance of a 3-pointer going in now (yay!). The most important change might actually have come in the form of a new way the MyTeam economy works: the emerald rarity cards are more easily obtained from packs now, which feels a lot better than it used to the previous years, but in order to not screw up the supply/demand-balance, a set is locked now once you complete all cards of one team to claim the respective historic reward card. Thus the economic stability might actually last longer this time around before the market crashes, without card prices skyrocketing early. In a nutshell: the best sports game out there has just gotten better and sure-to-come updates and game-play improvements will most likely even improve the already mind-blowing experience!

NBA 2K has always been a staple in my house since I was a kid and now that my son is older, he's also enjoying it! I definitely recommend the 2K series to anyone looking for a great basketball game for their console.

Excellent gameplay. Has a great story mode in career play that gives more control to the players as the actions leads to different outcomes. Graphics have certainly improved over the years, and the story telling feature in career mode is really engaging. This game pushes the right buttons (pun intended) and has a lot going for it. For NBA fans, a highly recommended game.

NBA2k17 is the best so far in the series! I love feeling that I am a part of the game and not just controlling what happens to someone else. The graphics are getting better every year and the Career mode is my favorite! I've bought 2 or 3 new games recently and this one is taking up all my time.

I love it. I play it better oin the game than I do in real life. White men can't jump.

The 2k series seems to get better every year and this year is no exception. The graphics are top notch and the game play is tight. If your new to the series, it may be a little overwhelming but the tutorial is great and after two or three games, it gets much easier.

I think overall the game is good, the controls are good and the functions work well. I wish 2K sports could make images more accurate than they show. I have wished this since I played their versions on baseball. Overall the game is great, just wish the characters worked out better. EA seems to do better in this department IMHO
