My Overall Thoughts If you care about realism, presentation, and having a wide range of modes (career, team-building, classic NBA simulation), then NBA 2K26 on PS5 delivers in a big way. For me, it often feels like I’m playing a televised NBA game — immersive, exciting, and fun. But if you dislike microtransactions, or expect consistent “easy wins,” or prefer arcade-style simplicity, some aspects can be annoying. All in all — NBA 2K26 is a strong pick for basketball fans who appreciate realism and depth. It’s not perfect, but for what it offers, it’s worth playing.

Always love this games! Yes, of course there may not be these HUGE differences from year to year, however it is a bit smoother and the graphics do look and feel noticeably better. I love the pretty frequent sales Best Buy has for these games as well. Feels like I got it for a steal!

Improved gameplay from the last few years. Plays more like real basketball. MyTeam should be more like Diamond Dynasty in The Show. Too many microtransactions.

Have bought this for my 25 year old grandson for the last 5 years. He prefers basketball over football and played both in High School and College. He likes this game over another Play Station game. I don’t play so I go by what the kids say.

My Son likes it but, the in game transactions are terrible for parents. Games like this makes parents not want to buy them for there kids because they have them stressing and hounding their parents to get the VC for on game purchases. This after you've already paid $70+ for the game.
