Great gameplay, excellent graphics, fully immersive experience

I really missed the college basketball games that EA put out back in the day. I'm not much of an NBA fan anymore, but I wanted to play a basketball game so I had to go NBA. One of the main reasons I choose this title is because of the price. Its a good game, I like the one feature, the shooting is good, and gameplay is easy to adapt to and use. I will buy future versions of this title.

Pros - intuitive dribbling system - leveling up your player is fun, fast and easy - skill gap to be a good defender - huge improvement over live 18 - court battles - graphics are much improved! Cons - lack of franchise improvements - layups need to be nerfed very slightly - still needs more animations - body types are too similar Overall this is the first live in a long time I can recommend to a friend. It's just fun!

Realistic graphics and different experience levels make this a great game

I love this game, I had grown fed up with NBA 2K and their constant in game micro transactions so I decided to go another route this year when purchasing an NBA game. I was not disappointed with my purchase, it is safe to say I am on the NBA Live bandwagon from now on, bye bye 2K!

Players move flawless. Music is great. Love the feel of the game.

Great game at the time. Was better then 2K series at the time and the shooting mechanism was much better. It was easy to score and do assists, but this became too easy if you knew how, unless playing a skilled defender. Graphics were good at the time and rosters were easy. A great game for it's year.

Way better than previous versions. Good game and good price

The graphics are good but the gameplay is well behind the 2k franchise. EA needs a lot of work especially on the motion aspect of players. The free throw motion was really bad.

Good graphics great game play and game playing modes.

I think this game is better than 2K, plain and simple. Theres no virtual currency to level up, you have to actually play to upgrade. I like the loot system as well. You get gear for your player through loot boxes, but the only way to get cuurency for them is to play the game. Its a great step forward for EA

This game 3 years ago was trash. It's been almost completely overhauled. The one mode is deeper and richer than last year. Other modes lack depth, such as franchise mode and ultimate team is okay at Best. Animations still need refinement but overall it's a great product and definitely better than it's predecessor.

The strides made in last years game are doubled down on in this years edition. New game modes, detailed character customization and the addition of the “real player motion” help bring this years game up to the level of that other NBA game. They’re gaining. Watch out next year!
