Cleans everything on the ground! Best brush and suction for a Botvac! The neato d6 is Worth it’s weight in good!

This is my second Neato Vacuum. The first one lasted over 5 years. I have not used the floorplan functions, with no-go lines, so I cannot comment on that. But, the vacuum works well and does a good job. I do like the extended battery time on this unit. It can vacuum over 1,000 sq ft of carpet and still have some battery charge left, which is better the my prior model which always had to recharge to finish the job.

I had another robotic vacuum and it didn’t do very well in comparison to this vacuum. Best purchase!

The neato D6 does a great job cleaning the whole house

Original Neato did a great job so when it turned 8 and had slowed down we decided to get another. Loved the original and although this new one is good it does not seem to clean quite as thoroughly on the hardwood floors. Will have to check and see if maybe it is the cleaning brush as it seems to do a good job on the carpet.

As advertised the new D6 robotic vacuum has the great features like mapping different rooms, app control and good cleaning. Sounds good. Before I received the D6, I watched the videos on Neato about the other robotic vacuums so I thought I was prepared when I got the vacuum home. The box set up instructions was 4 small pages, referring you to view documentation on line. It would have been nice to had a schematic of the robotvac included so you could identify the various parts (finally found one on line). It was annoying to have to keep going to the Neato website for instructions. I was hesitant to push the vac into the wall charger too hard, but finally got it connected. Installed the Android app and proceeded to connect. The device did not automatically find my Wi-Fi network, so did it manually. The instructions were good on connecting to the app. Did a quick clean and the vac worked well and really picked up the dirt. So that was a plus. All lights were blue (good) when I went to bed. The next AM I noticed the blue light was solid red. Opened the app and the note was vac not on charger base, but it was. Took several attempts and finally got it back on and re-connected to the app. I have a mixture of wood, throw rugs and carpet floors and a lot of furniture. Also, a sunken living room which required blocking off. Used on one end the “no go strip” that came in the box and for the other end blocked off with box the vac came in. Setting up the mapping floor plan took a little time and effort and moving of items to insure vac could sense the correct path. The floor plan included one bedroom, bath, long hall, family room, kitchen, and formal dining room. My house has lot of furniture and narrow areas so it took about 45 minutes but did a good job of picking up dirt. At one point I wanted to tell “Jeeves” you missed a big spot, but eventually it goes back and covers all the area. The vac gracefully skirted the wood furniture, but at first bumped into the base of the rock fireplace and bar stool legs. Hopefully it will learn. It transitioned very well between the wood, throw rugs and carpeted and vinyl bathroom. Emptying the dust bin was easy but if you have asthma or allergies, ask someone else to do it. In sum, you must really train yourself to pick up and /or move items so the Neato can do it’s job. I am not sure what the maintenance cost will be and website indicates you will need to replace filters ($30 for 2pack) 6 or 7 times a year, plus the battery every 12-18 months ($50). Not sure how long other parts will last. I gave it 3 stars because it will not eliminate the need for a traditional vacuum and also the possible yearly maintenance costs and that the No go” mapping only works from the charge base starting point which limits it usage.

love the idea that it learns everything by itself, you don't have to do anything.

My wife loves the capabilities of this unit. It handles both upstairs and downstairs.

This is my second Neato vacuum as replaced an older first generation model. This new device is a lot quieter, and seems to clean alot better then previous model. Setup was easy with the app. Ran once to create floorplan and set up no go zones. The square design really gets into corners and picks up dirt. Definitely recommend this vacuum.

I bought this product and set everything up correctly and the first use was successful. The vacuum ran for over an hour and really cleaned the floors. After the first use the Neato vacuum Wi-Fi doesn’t populate after multiple attempts. The initial location has not changed, nothing changed but the vacuum not responding. To top it all off Neato customer service is unavailable by phone because of the pandemic I will be returning this product

Pretty simple to set up, and picks up all the debris

We have 2 dogs and alot of wood flooring with rugs. We run this vacuum everyday while at work and it does the job. Now we come home to clean floor and dont have to worry about sweeping. It's a funny thing to be able to focus on other things while the house gets vacuumed. Worth the purchase.

Wish it was able to vacuum my area rug. It’s too tall for it. Otherwise gets the job done. I had to redo the floor plan twice without ever moving the base which was inconvenient when wanting to use no go lines feature.

Used the neato several times already. I like the plan maps it creates for future quick start up. I also like just placing it wherever to clean a custom room. So far we've operated it 3 times. Works well so far.

named her Rosie. Rosie gets stuck sometimes but not too often. cleans pretty well. nice to have the app so you can turn her on while your at work or about to take a shower

I’m very happy with how well it cleans, better than any upright I’ve owned. I certainly learned to buy the insurance

This is my 3rd Neato Botvac that I’ve purchased,they just keep improving every new model .This is the best so far a little bit hard to set up with the Wi-fi but other than that it’s great

Excellent product! Works exactly as described. It’s our first robot vacuum and we are so happy with our purchase. Would by again!
