Bought this primarily to get under the bed, but it does a great job on hardwood floors. Can use this on upstairs as well as main level. Would be more convenient if I had two bases. Battery lasts the 1 1/2 hours as advertised - tells me when bin needs to be emptied if it is still working. Nice product.

My 3rd Neato "robot vacuum" in 7 years. Will never be without one. This new D7 model with smart phone app communication is worth every cent! Love the option for Turbo super maximum pick up. I run my Neato daily and I faithfully empty the dirt bin, in appreciation of getting my floors vacuumed! :)

Spectacular on all fronts! Competing brands do not even stand a chance! I have tried Samsung & Roomba robotic vacuums and have returned them almost immediately. The Neato D7 cleans significantly better and has features I couldn't even imagine! Highly recommend this product!

We had the D5 and were happy with it. When it was time to replace it we decided to upgrade, and an upgrade it was. It has a more powerful motor which gets all of the pet hair out of the area rugs. Slightly louder than the D5, but expected with the stronger motor.

This is a state-of-the-art product. It does an incredibly thorough job vacuuming the house and navigates between and around all of the furniture, chairs and nooks and crannies one normally finds in a home. Well worth the expense. Highly recommend!

Originally had the D4 and absolutely loved it. Thought if this is good, the D7 must be GREAT. Nope. We have had nothing but problems with the upgrade. Constantly losing map and customer service told me its because the base moved. Took 3M strips to the base so I KNOW it couldn't move. No improvement. The suction was good and the app is really convenient.

The Neato botvac D7 works great on most surfaces, wood, short pile carpet, and tile floors. If you have long thread rugs it will get caught on those but there is a solution! No-go lines allow you to block off areas and that solves any problem you have with the vacuum getting stuck.

I've had several Roomba pet series vacuums, and they always got pet hair tangled in the gears. This Neato got great reviews for pet hair and it hasn't disappointed! It hasn't gotten tangled gears once, and it does a very good job picking hair up. I like the mixed shape of square and round edges - it gets into corners better. It can also maneuver itself out of tight spots much better than Roomba since it can lift itself up to spin around. I'm very happy with this vacuum so far!

It cleans as expected. It does not always pick up in slots along rug area. So far pleased with results.

This Neato Robot Vacuum is the greatest. You can set it up to clean individual rooms. When I looked at the carpet it was as if an expensive vacuum had been used. Based on what I see the map it makes to see after done it covers the whole room. Easy to clean. We just love it.

I upgraded from a really old Neato XV-11 to this new D7, and it's great. I have a small two-story townhome. I bought an extra base, and it does a great job remembering each different floor to vacuum. I have a long-hair cat, and it does a great job picking up most of the hair in the carpet as well. Only bummer is that the bin is a little small. I have to empty it after each use, which is fine. App and Wifi connectivity, and my cat loves it when I drive it around manually with the app. Also great for getting lots of messes out in a specific area. The floorplan feature is great, you can assign specific zones and "no go" lines where it will not try to pass. Great when you put up the Christmas Tree. It had a hard time connecting to my WiFi when I first set it up, I had to specifically select the 2.4 Ghz network (and assign it on my Google Wifi), but it's been fine since then.

After doing a lot of research, we decided on the neato D7 over the other name brands for vacuums. The biggest selling feature for me was that it actually "sees" its environment using lasers to scan and map out your home. The D7 can store additional floor plans in case you want to move it to another level of your home as well. The fact that it has a map of your home allows you to draw out no-go zones so you can prevent it from getting somewhere you don't want to go extremely easily, without having to put up baby gates or other sub-par ways of blocking it. On top of mapping, it is quiet enough that you don't mind it going around while you are home. Its dustbin holds a decent amount of dirt. The amount of suction it has compared to other robo vacs is also very good. Do your research online and I you will probably be led towards the Neeto series of robo vacs for the same price point.

Love my Neato Botvac it is the absolute best on the market! I have bought them all of my family members and they love them as well! I have one downstairs and one upstairs they do a fabulous job! In fact they vacuum better than my upright vacuum.

A must have in a 2880 square foot house. But buy the warranty as if it beaks and I have had four break you just take it back and BOOM!!’ You get a brand new one no questions asked.. we love it and have named him Jerry!!

This robot vac is great. It spent about an hour and a half mapping our home out the first time it ran. After it was complete, the app updated a spec of our floorplan. The vacuum is now able to clean the floors in about 40 minutes ever time it runs. It works great!

The features, design, quality, performance, app and everything else about this machine is top notch. I was skeptical of all the gimmicky features it had, but everyone of them work and make this machine worth every penny! Well done Neato!

The brushed tangle way more then roomba but quieter it’s okay

I call this robot vacuum Jarvis 1 for obvious reasons. It is reliable, hard working and is extremely smart. I love how it returns to base without any human assistance. It cost a bundle but is well worth it.

If the internet goes down it will not vacuum. It is almost impossible to get it connect to Wi-Fi to make changes where she gets stuck. I've noticed that the schedule will erase itself quite regularly then it doesn't want to connect to the Wi-Fi to update the schedule. When it's following schedule I love it.

In late 2017 I had purchased the Deebot N79. Although the N79 does a good job, it was our first robot vacuum cleaner. I quickly learned that I wanted / needed some additional features (e.g. virtual mapping). I started researching again and found the Neato D7 Connected and made the purchase. It is a great unit! The app is very good and updated with new features fairly frequently. Definitely love the "no go" lines feature. In the near future they will enable an ability to create zones in the floor plan and scheduling of each. The only drawback I can see on some of these robot vacuums is the need to frequently empty the dirt bin. I should mention that our house has a mix of hardwood floors, short pile carpet, area rugs and tile. I positioned the base station under a media cabinet located in the master bedroom where it cannot be easily seen. Works great!
