I loved this game the first time around on Xbox 360, so this was a must-buy. The graphics do look better of course but you may need to compare with the original to really see the big differences. The lighting especially is from the older era of racing games and overall looks darker than newer NFS or other games in the genre. Having all of the original DLC is a nice touch since I didn't have that the first time, but the most compelling factor for this game is going to be the nostalgia. It's nice to go back to a time when there wasn't a story or other frills, just 'ole cops and racers. I enjoyed this game more than some that came before it, and others that came after it, like Rivals, but that's subjective.

I played this on the Xbox 360 about 9 years ago, one of the best titles out back then because it was made by Criterion Studios that made Burnout. Need for Speed games now are not good, I was not a big fan of Need for Speed Heat so when this came out I picked it up. This has a fresh coat of paint on it and looks really good. What made me realize how great this game is, is how satisfying the gameplay is. Takedowns, equipment, turbo.. Also the police are fair and balanced. Just being a racer or a cop is so satisfying when you win and getting Gold medals are not hard but do take effort. Criterion did a great job with Need for Speed. I highly recommend getting this title. The only issue that I had was that I didn't realize that all the vehicles are old now lol, they go only up to the year 2007 so you are dealing with all older generation vehicles. There are no new cars put in. If you are ok with this then get the title, because this NFS is better than all recent generic NFS titles that have been coming out.

Playing this title on a large 4k display with a decent audio setup is a treat. Gameplay and physics certainly aren't close to the real world, but less "cartoony" than some games. The ability to play as the cops or criminals adds to the fun. My only complaint is that the steering is very touchy and hard to master.

I have the Sony PlayStation 2 version, this one has better graphics and I got it cheap.

I love this game. Same as I did when it first came out for the Xbox 360. Nice quality they gave this one too as the remastered version. Highly recommended for any Need For Speed fan.

Kids and I enjoy racing so thought I’d buy this since I have played a lot when I was younger. It still a great game and obviously keeps getting better and better!

This game is so fun!!! That's the reason this is the ONLY Need For Speed game to EVER get a Remastered edition!! I played this game for 5+ years on PS3, so HAD to buy it for PS4 when it came out. Then I bought an XBox One version for my grandsons so we can all play online together...because this Remastered version has CROSSPLAY across PS4, XBox, Switch and PC!!! Do you like racing fast cars? Do you like dropping spike strips on your friends? How about using an EMP on a cop? It's a blast!!! Buy this game now!!

This is one of my favorite need for speed titles and now it’s remastered. Great graphics and no lad times.

Just like the original!!! This was one of my favorite games on the Xbox 360 and I was super stoked to hear that it was being remastered!!!! Graphics have been significantly improved especially on the Xbox One X!!! Super fun game and the soundtrack is lit

I grew up watching this animated series and this game is not a AAA title but if you're playing co-op with a friend it is so much arcade and nostalgic fun. The great price at Best Buy allowed me to get a copy for my other console.
