First thing i noticed was that i could not pause the game, which gets pretty annoying. The story mode has a strange setup with three options to choose from. Can only select one option and can not go back to the other options until the game is beat. The cop mode is much more fun and easier than the racer mode.

Good but not optimal

But other racers, including the next Need for Speed, Forza, and Drive Club quickly surpassed it. Now it feels like a very old game and does not hold up.
