im a forza fan but my son wanted this for the ps4. have to admit a pretty fun and good looking game

Great racing game where you have full control of how you customize and tweak your vehicle. Your dream car may even be on this game. Just win some races and customize away. This is a must buy!

Solid racing experience, deep customization, open world racer. Lots of fun, if you like car games that aren't overly technical (like Forza or Gran Turismo), then this is your game.

Awesome game play, great car selection. The game can be intense with roaming the streets to being chased by cops. Plenty of stages to conquer and enhance your game play. Graphics look good and enjoy how we can fully modify the car to your style.

This was a good game, but was not very challenging. Most of the races were done in one try. The game is fun, but it forces online mode every time you turn it on which is disappointing. If you go into options you can change it to solo mode, but it resets after leaving the game. It also will not launch without working Internet. The game was fun nonetheless and I would recommend it.

So overall this is a fun game. The major complaint that I have is how bad the vehicles handle. Even after full adjustments to each car it is still bad. Lagging almost. The only other issue that I had was the b.s. phone calls and "pop-culture lingo". Would have been much better if they would have stuck to the normal things people say and not words like "bae" which are just terrible.

Need for speed is a great series for everyone one. It is so much fun. The way that ypu can customize cars and go around the city is stunning!

Easy to play and challenging looks great on big screen tv

Storyline is not linear and is kind of corny at times but the racing, cars, graphics, and customization reminds me of the undergrounds and most wanted.

amazing graphics but short story mode , not bad for a new edition

I have played a couple NFS games before but never rivals and this one. Graphics are great, the gameplay is good. The thing that I didn't like is the fact you always need Internet to play. You can't play in split screen with a friend next to you, just by online in another system.

Need for Speed has been a hit or miss game but this one is a easy recommendation. It reminds me a lot of Need for Speed Underground 2 and Need for Speed Carbon but with nicer graphics. For $20 you can't go wrong but you have to have a online connection all the time. That would be my only negative feedback.

Customization, beautiful imagery and tight controls;

Customization is awesome gameplay can be worked on such as not having Manuel shifting and when taking corners rubbing up against a guard rail will total your car other than that it's fun game it does need more races and other types of races such as drag racing but I'm sure they will release more updates and DLC

My son is a long time Need for Speed fan. He was thrilled to receive this for his birthday. I was thrilled with the Black Friday price and the additional download add on code for buying it from Best Buy on Black Friday. He says the story line of the game is not great but the racing is still a blast.
