Loved this anime growing up. Have had the DVD collection for years. Been wanting to upgrade to the BluRay, but couldn't find it. Was extra happy this included End of Eva movie. Can gift that and the entire DVD collection to my sister in law. Just a little bit clearer pic quality. Not remastered. Just crisper.

No spoilers. Never seen the show before but saw the memes and had to watch it. Wow. Just wow. If you like mecha anime this is a great one to watch. Even the relationships between characters I felt were well done. Watch the episodes first before the movie. Makes it make more sense and allows for you to enjoy the movie take even more.

Finally - the OG series on a great Blu-ray format, along with the movies "EVANGELION (TRUE)" and "THE END OF EVANGELION"!!! Great packaging - 5 discs in a single, expanded Blu-ray case. Had bad experience in the past with some of these multiple disc cases, but not here.

This OG anime is a classic and anyone that grew up in the 90's watching this series should know that this was the pinnacle of anime. I'm glad I bought this on a deal. I love the extra movie that is included in this series.

Amazing classic series finally on blu-ray in the US! It's a shame that the old/original English dub is not included in addition to the Netflix/new dub with the standard release. Still a great purchase for those who prefer to watch the series with subtitles anyway and do not need all the extras.

Arrived in great condition, faster than expected. Great price for all the content (the full show, and the two companion films). New to Evangelion, but so far as I'm concerned, Shout Factory did a phenomenal job on the release.

Very nice collection. Only complaint I have is that this does have original ADV English Dub and the iconic fly me to the moon song is not present due to licensing issues.

the down side is original dub and credit music are gone, if you've all ready seen evangelion in its original 90's state it will bother you to hear the newly dub that doesn't hold the same passion and emotion the old dub still maintains.i still give netflix credit for releasing this with all new dub that's suppose to resemble the japanese translation more.its the full package with every EP including the movies,i do recommend but darn...i want the old dub

This is an exciting series, filled to the brim with action and psychological drama and a visual treat to the end. Highly recommended!

original 26 episodes remastered to 1080p , new dubs but decent. Includes the 2 movies to correct and flesh out the ending so its a solid purchase for fans and new viewers alike.
