Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the Fortnite AR-L Elite Dart Blaster's quality, ease of use, and power. Many reviewers highlighted the fun factor and the blaster's effective shooting capabilities. A few users noted that the dart capacity is somewhat limited and that occasional jamming can occur. Overall, the positive feedback on fun and performance outweighs the minor drawbacks reported by some users.

Fun for the kids
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nerf Fortnite AR-Rippley Motorized Elite Dart Blaster is a lot of fun for the kids and looks very nice. It is meant to emulate the look of a gun skin from Fortnite, and it does with various shades of blue in a wavy pattern. It looks different from any other large Nerf gun that I have seen, and my kids appreciated that. It operates by inserting the manually loaded clip of 10 Nerf darts, pressing a button near the trigger to engage the motor, and then pulling the trigger. All ten darts will shoot out quite quickly and with good velocity. The motor runs off 4 AA batteries, not included. It seems to get decent battery life because my kids have been using it fairly constantly the last few days and the batteries have not needed to be changed out. The motor is somewhat loud in an enclosed space, although not as loud as other motorized Nerf guns we have used. One issue to be aware of is that this Nerf gun has no way to fire without using the battery-powered motor, so there is no quieter way to use it. A way to fire it manually would have been nice. Overall, it is very popular with my kids both for the cool look and for the quick firing rate. I would encourage the kids to play with it outside due to the motor noise.

Another Great Nerf Blaster
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a lot of Nerf blasters in our family (enough that we had to come up with a storage system!) and my son is a huge Fortnite fan, so this particular blaster was a perfect fit. First off, I’m happy to see Nerf is making their packaging a little easier to deal with. This one didn’t have the multiple paper twist-ties they usually do, just a couple cardboard tabs to cut. Inside are the gun, magazine and enough darts for two full loads. There are no batteries included, which you will need to operate the gun as it has a flywheel to launch the darts. My son was quick to point out that the wrap isn’t exactly the same as in-game, but was “close enough” that he liked it a lot. Accuracy and distance are really good, even better than some of the other blasters we have. Darts launch a good distance and hit their target with a satisfying “thunk!” While it comes with about 20 color-matched darts, you can of course use other Nerf darts. There’s the usual door on the side to clear jams. So far we haven’t had any jams though. Highly recommended for any Nerf or Fortnite fan!

So much fun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a semi-auto blaster that is battery operated. My understanding is that this Nerf gun is the same as the Nerf Fortnite AR-L. Essentially, it is a different colorway. For the review, what can you say? It brings out the child in everyone. My 65 year old dad likes to grab it and suddenly pelt us. Right out of the box, you feel like a child holding a big Nerf gun. It's surprisingly light. They include 20 blue darts. They include one magazine that can hold up to 10 darts. Regular orange Nerf magazines also work! They unfortunately do NOT include batteries. It is powered by 4 AA batteries. In order to shoot, you have to press the acceleration button to power up the motor before pressing the trigger. The motor has to "rev" up for a bit or you won't be able to shoot very far. It is very easy to press both the acceleration and trigger. When you run out of darts, you can release the magazine clip with a button opposite the trigger. There are front and rear flip up sites. I did not find these to be accurate at all, although in a Nerf fight, who has time to look? All in all, I love this Nerf gun. My only wish is that they included more magazine clips, but I guess they want us to buy them. 10 darts goes by real quick!

Ready To Play
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow.... was I surprised how good this felt to hold right out of the box. It was larger then I was expecting but it has a good weight to it. You do need 4 AA batteries so be sure you have some handy if you want to use this right away. The set comes with the gun, 20 darts, one clip which holds 10 darts. and 20 Okay I wish it had an extra clip or this clip would hold all 20 darts at one time. There is a trigger on the handle you have to press first to engage the motor and then you are ready to fire. A simple squeeze of the trigger and you are off and having fun. Removing the clip is super easy. Just press the clip release button and the clip pulls right out. There are flip up sites and a side door to open if there is a jam. It did jam a few times on us at first but it hasn't happened again. My only wish is that the darts had a little more zip on them as they came out of the gun. It is pretty accurate up to about 5-10 feet. Perhaps I need a different kind of battery, I will test that soon. Overall this is a blast to play with and my kids have not stopped using it.

Lots of fun and looks cool
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fortnite AR-Rippley is fun to play with and just looks cool. With Fortnite being so popular amongst all age groups, everyone is sure to love the Fortnite AR-Rippley. The Fortnite AR-Rippley does require four AA batteries, which DO NOT come with the toy. So, make sure to pick some up. It comes with 20 Nerf darts that mach the Fortnite color theme. The magazine has a 10 dart capacity, so the extra 10 will come in handy when you lose the first batch, which you will. Something that I immediately noticed while playing with the Fortnite AR-Rippley was that the dart is shot out with much less force, compared to other Nerf guns. Therefore, distance shots will suffer. I also found that the darts jammed quite a bit. One more thing, be careful not to step on the darts because if the dart is flattened out, it will not stay in place in the magazine. Aside from those negatives, the Fortnite AR-Rippley is lots of fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. It would definitely make for a cool gift!

Fun blaster to pass some time with
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Other than this apparently being the California compliant version, with the 10 round magazine (Hasbro, it's a magazine, not a "clip." Clips are for M1 garands and go *TING* when empty), it's a fun blaster to have in the house. It's fairly accurate at 20 yards, unfortunately my apartment isn't large enough to stretch it out, but that's ok. I did notice that if you allow the motor to spin all the way up, it will hinder accuracy, the darts aren't really ballistically efficient when moving too fast. Let it get mostly spooled up and then slow and steady fire with a good rhythm will get the motor to a perfect speed for accurate follow-up shots. Really the only downside I have with it is how big it is; it's quite bulky. But it is a far cry from the nerf guns of 20 years ago that you had to pump or cock. Otherwise, if it came with batteries it would be a 5/5. For the price it could at least come with the knock off batteries just to get started with it out of the box.

Fun Nerf interchangeable automatic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This nerf gun looks cool and it’s pretty big. Easy to setup and easy to use. My kids set it up for me out of the box and showed me how to use it. It takes 4 AA not included and can hold/shoot 10 darts in the clip included It accepts the other nerf attachments like scopes etc or other launchers (on top). I am not sure if you can use a larger clip for more darts Good fun but will run out and have to reload quickly Some issues. There is no manual firing. Only battery powered. No manual loading one dart. Only with the clip Safety features like it won’t shoot if the clip isn’t in or the dart clear chamber is open Two trigger operation one to start battery wheel/launcher one to fire dart

Fun Nerf Blaster!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This blaster is really cool, especially for someone who enjoys both Fortnite and Nerf. The two tone paint job “Weapon skin” if you will looks nice. I feel like this is something that I have not seen on a lot of Nerf blasters. I like the cartoony look of it, while sharing similar designs to real rifles, it has some chunky plastic charm that separates it from other Nerf blasters. The flywheel performance is good. Safe for playing with children, but is still satisfying to shoot. Overall this is a fun blaster that I would recommend to the Fortnite Nerf enthusiasts.

So much fun!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two reasons it doesn't get 5 stars: the darts hurt when you shoot them at someone lol and sometimes it jams and it'll completely shut down. It's accurate, fast, and a fun toy! It surprisingly only takes 4 AAs to use. I taught my nephew how to set up cans and do target practice with them and he enjoyed it too. I love the colors and Fortnite affiliation. All in all, a great Nerf toy!

Fun fun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good size not too heavy. It does take about 2-3 secs to start shooting. So it's not instant & makes a noise so u can't be caught off guard. Occasionally it will jam a little but it has a small sliding door that makes that area easily accessible to adjust the bullet. If that sliding door is open it will not shoot. All around it's a very safe gun.

Fun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My nephew went bonkers when he saw this as he plays a lot of Fortnite. It's a great nerf gun. Color scheme is amazing. Works great and is accurate to about 20ft. I'd buy extra magazines as it tends to empty pretty fast, and as we all know, reloading stinks.

Broken upon arrival
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for Christmas for my son, we have one just like it but it’s not fortnite edition. I changed batteries multiple times and finally gave up. It does not work at all. I threw out the box because I got rid If everything on Xmas morning, so now I’m stuck with a defective gun, what a waste of money,
