Instead, it was crushing and deforming the unused capsule. It worked fine only one time out of four trials. We returned the unit to Best Buy and received full credit, including the 2-year Best Buy guarantee fee. This might have been an isolated manufacturing defect. I recommend giving it a try, another try... We replaced it with the next level higher model of Nespresso Breville coffee maker (Vertuo) that we are very happy with.

Don’t have any other issues other than that. It was a great bundled price though!
