    The Tesla of Coffee

Nespresso Vertuo is Tesla in the coffee industry. I have had pod coffee makers before. I have used Nespresso machines before. This one beats them out by far. Right out of the box, I was struck by how slick the design was. It has the small footprint of a pod coffee machine. Set up was simple enough. I ran water through it first to rinse out the machine. You put water into the tank. Lock it into place. The light blinks for about 30 seconds while it gets ready. After it becomes a solid white, you press the coffee button three times to let it rinse out. When the light becomes solid again, you are good to go! All in all, I love this machine. The coffee is great. I don't have to fiddle with the settings. The very slick futuristic design it has also pleases the eyes. However, as good as it sounds, it still has a few flaws that could be improved. The single button use and the Bluetooth system that requires operating on smart phones may seem a bit complex or overwhelming for non-tech savvy customers. Not only that, but the limited places you can find the pods may become a problem if not resolved soon. The pods are also very expensive. Cost effectiveness is not a strong point. Furthermore, this machine is also lacking in a couple other things, the locking mechanism and the water tank. Though it may not be much of a problem for younger users, the elderly might have a slight difficulty turning the stiff lock. If it was a bit smoother or designed differently, it would be magnificent. The location of the water tank is also a bit inconvenient as it is behind the machine. It may not be a problem for some, but for others and myself, who has the counter top pretty full, it requires a bit of labor as we have to slightly pull the machine out to refill the water. Besides these small complaints, this machine makes great coffee. Each cup of coffee is not cheap. However, with the diverse rich creamy flavors this machine brews, this is everything a coffee lover can ask for.

    Coffee shop coffee at home!

I’ve used the mini pod Nespresso before at a hotel and while very good, they tend to brew “small” cups. What I love about this is it makes coffee house grade coffee in full size cups! Pros: Amazing tasting coffee! So far every style pod I’ve tried (coffee and espresso) tastes great Options for both Coffee and Espresso in multiple sizes including full size cup coffee (a must for me!) One touch simplicity – just drop in the style pod you want and it does the rest. It knows the amount of water/brew based on the pod. Fast heating – only takes about 20-25 seconds to heat up Small footprint – fits about anywhere on your counter and likely smaller than anything other coffee maker you are using Modern design – looks good on your countertop No cleanup – it even ejects the used pods into a catch basin in the coffee maker Recyclable pods – even free shipping of the old pods back to Nespresso if you re-order through them Coffee shop coffee without spending $4-$6 dollars! Came with a good sampler to taste lots of the different options Cons: Coffee costs a fair amount more than other at home systems per pod (but tastes better too and much less than a coffee shop, so that offsets things pretty well) Not a lot of places sell the Nespresso Vertuo pods at the moment, so hard to find locally, but obviously available on the internet Overall – small footprint and a great option for great tasting coffee shop coffee in your own kitchen without a any effort or cleanup of a traditional espresso machine.

Authentic Espressos &Coffee in less than a minute

If you love espressos but don't like waiting in lines at a coffee shop, than this is the machine for you. (This is my first Nespresso machine. After seeing how good the coffee looks in the commercials, and my dislike for lines. I decided to give them a chance, and so far, I'm glad I did.) Nespresso has done a great job at making an elegant yet space saving machine, that not only produces high quality espressos in under a minute, but also makes all sizes of your favorite coffee beverages. The Vertuo Next Premium is only 5.5 inches wide, which makes this instant coffee machine able to squeeze in between your other counter appliances. At only 12.5 high, it should fit under most cabinets as well, although you might need an additional 5 to 7 inches of height to open the lid to place the capsule/pod inside the unit. The black finish is very smooth, and looks as rich as the coffee tastes. The chrome lined cup holder can be manually placed at 1 of 3 different heights to fit different sized cups for the appropriate brew. It was also a nice touch, to have the used pods automatically eject into a trash reservoir in the machine. The trash reservoir can be completely removed and rinsed as needed. If you subscribe to Nespresso for your coffee orders, all the used pods can be returned at no charge, for recycling to Nespresso. In fact Nespresso is very big on recycling, with utilizing 54% of recycled plastics in the making of each Vertuo Next machine. The brewed espressos and coffees come out in less than a minute every time, and always at the right temperature. Most cups have just enough froth while brewing to still enjoy while drinking. Everything is automatic to the pods you select. The machine can read each pod, and knows the correct ounces of water , pressure and temperature for each one. Nespresso pods are actually a little tough to find locally, and the third party Nespresso pods that they do sell in most stores do not fit this specific Nespresso machine. So the best way to keep a healthy supply of your favorite pods, is to subscribe to Nespresso. The shipping, and recycling is all free, and they include a $10 off coupon in the box for new orders. Plus you do have access to special limited time only blends. Currently Nespresso has about 28 different blends, with beans sourced from over 100,000 different farmers throughout the world. The samples of coffee included in the box will give one a good idea as to what to look for, on future orders. All the included pods had rich flavours and nice aromas. I also like the fact that after you brew a pod, and want an instant top off to your cup, you can simply tap the brew button, to start an extra pour. Then tap the brew button again to stop it. This machine can handle 5 different brew sizes from single espressos 1.35oz to tall glasses of 14ounces. So everyone in the house can literally get what they want, for a morning or anytime brew. Even though I enjoy the smell of my coffee brewing, I do not like lingering scents, like from a traditional coffee pot. I used to hate that half of the house would smell like a burnt coffee pot. Which is why I love these instant coffee machines. Once you are done, simply bag up the used pods, and no smell. I would like to point out that you are supposed to flush the system before your first use, by filling the water reservoir and tapping the brew button 3 times. This cleaning process can be done at any time, and is recommended periodically, or if your system has sat for a long time between uses. Another thing to mention, is that I always use filtered water to fill the machine to reduce lime scale, and prevent anything from altering the intended flavor of the coffee. Overall I think this space saving design is great for a quick and delicious cup of coffee or espressos! With most people moving to delivery for groceries and other essential products, it would make sense to get your coffee delivered too, especially when there are no shipping charges !

A GREAT CUP OF COFFEE IN A SMALL PACKAGE

I’m a devout coffee drinker and can’t go without having my two mugs of coffee in the morning. As such, I also drink it black without sugar. Guess you can say I’m a coffee “snob”. I have been using a K-cup machine for over a decade and didn’t think I could go with anything else. Enter the Breville Nespresso Vertuo Next coffee machine. The coffee “snob’s” most pleasant dream! It not only brews a great cup of coffee in less than a minute, it also ejects the coffee pod into its own separate container when the lid is unlocked and raised. With the k-cup, you have to manually remove the pod and if it’s hot, it can be a race to get it to the garbage without dripping or burning your fingers. Nespresso even has recycling bags which you can get for free on their website. When the recycling bags are full, just bring them to the nearest UPS store and return them free of charge. The pods are aluminum instead of plastic, so Nespresso recycles them for you. The Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine is a little louder than my Keurig machine, but not that much louder. The main issue is that you have to use special pods with the Vertuo machine that can only be purchased from certain Nespresso retailers or Nespresso website. The pods are more expensive ranging in cost from $1.00 - $1.50 per pod, whereas you can get K-cup pods for as little as $0.30 per pod. Personally, I think the extra cost is worth it as the coffee is far superior than most K-cup coffees. The pods come in different sizes depending upon the size of the cup and/or mug. They range from 1.35oz (Espresso) to 14oz (Alto). The in between sizes are 2.7oz (double espresso), 5.07oz (Gran Lungo) and 7.77oz (Coffee). Unfortunately for those people, like me, that have large mugs for their coffee, they only have two flavors, or choices, for the 14 oz. However, Nespresso informed me that they will be releasing more sizes and choices in the coming weeks. The Nespresso Vertuo Next Espresso machine also comes with an optional Milk heater/aerator. Since I don’t use milk or cream in my coffee, I just have the standard Nespresso Vertuo Next machine. The Nespresso Vertuo Next doesn’t take up a lot of room on my counter, but it is 16” deep, including the cup holder. The water tank is in the back so it can be a bit challenging to get to it to fill it. The water tank can either be removed and filled or just remove the lid and fill with a pitcher or measuring cup (which is what I do). The cup support is adjustable for 3 different heights of cups and/or mugs. This helps reduce splashing of coffee on the machine or counter while brewing. To brew, place the pod in the holder, push down the lid and move the lock mechanism to lock the machine. Once the machine is locked just push the lit coffee mug on the top and the Nespresso Vertuo Next automatically adjusts the amount of water needed according to the size of the pod. The locking mechanism is somewhat tough to push in either direction, either to lock or unlock. The fact that I have a touch of arthritis in my fingers makes it a little difficult for me so I have to use 2 hands. One to hold the lid down and the other to push the lock/unlock mechanism. The coffee itself has a much richer and fuller flavor than most k-cups that I’ve had and there is a nice variety of flavors and intensities of the Nespresso Vertuo line pods. Still, there aren’t as many verities of coffees as the k-cups, but for what is available, the Nespresso coffee is much better in flavor and well worth the higher price per pod. I really enjoy the variety of strengths and cup sizes the Nespresso has to offer. Hopefully, Nespresso will come out with more of the 14oz sizes in the near future. One more aspect of the Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee/Espresso Machine, is that it can be connected to Wi-Fi through the Nespresso app for Smartphone, Tablet or iPhones. This is done via Bluetooth. However, it’s not necessary to do this connection to enjoy a great cup of coffee. I didn’t connect my Smartphone or tablet so I’m not sure what the benefit is and I can’t say if it’s easy to connect or not. I just enjoy the coffee. I recommend the Breville Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee Espresso Machine to anyone who loves their coffee. Especially with the 5 size choices.

Make Way for the New Coffee Machine King

--- SETUP --- The Nespresso Vertuo Next is easy to set up. All the components are already in place and the box opens on the side for easy removal. Just plug in, add water, and enjoy coffee. --- FEATURES --- This Nespresso features software updates through an app on your phone, a variety of Vertuo pods to taste, and automatic detection of the size of coffee you want to serve yourself. The bluetooth functionality wasn’t available at the time of review, but I got a notification from Nespresso that it will be used to update the firmware of the machine for future coffee pods, since the machine reads a barcode on each pod. --- PERFORMANCE --- This Vertuo Next does a good job at making the coffee pods. The pods themselves have a barcode around the rim of the pods. Those barcodes tell the machine what size of pod you selected, the flavor, and pours the right amount of water for that pod size. Upon opening the pod holder, the machine pushes the pod back towards a small trash receptacle that is embedded in the machine, allowing you to use the machine once a day for a work week before you have to empty the receptacle and clean it. --- EXPECTATIONS --- The Vertuo Next looks fancy. I especially like how the water container is clear, making the machine look more inviting to make coffee. At first, the instructions typed in the manual seemed overwhelming. It’s not like using other coffee machines that all use cups of similar sizes. The pod you choose determines how much coffee you’ll get poured. The first time I used it, I didn’t realize I had chosen an espresso and the amount of coffee it poured was disappointing. However, that was user error. I then paid closer attention to each pod and noticed that the pods themselves have the oz. quantity that it’ll make. I chose a decaf pod, separately frothed milk in a clear jar, and tried again. This time, I got it right and the presentation looked amazing. More importantly, the coffee tasted just right. The following morning, I was more confident and tried an espresso again, but this time, I prepared froth milk, a few drops of vanilla extract, and some honey as a sweetener. It was definitely the highlight of my morning with yet another great tasting pod selection. --- VALUE --- The Nespresso price is a worthy investment for daily coffee consumers. I factor in the cost of each pod, which from the research I made, you can find them for about a dollar or less per pod when purchased in quantities of 10 or more. That’s about a buck a cup, way cheaper than coffee shops but taste just as great. --- APPROVAL --- This is now replacing my previous coffee machine and I’ve already invested in dessert flavored pods. I highly recommend this to coffee lovers who need great tasting coffee in a faster, more convenient way on a daily basis.

I’m not a coffee aficionado, up until this machine, 95% of my coffee drinking has been mostly limited to good ol Maxwell House. My girlfriend on the other hand goes to the expensive shops on a regular basis. The coffee and espresso pods range from $1 to $2 dollars a pod. The pods come in 5,8,14 or 18 oz sizes, though I’ve not seen the 18oz pod size. I prefer the 14 oz size and as of now they only have two coffee flavors for that size. The pods are made out of aluminum and are recyclable making them environmentally friendly. The machine is long but narrow so it doesn’t take up much counter space. The machine feels well made and has a nice adjustable and removable coffee cup holder. The one negative of the machine is that people with limited hand strength may have a tougher time locking the machine one handed The Nespresso line allows you to be your own Barista and save money while doing it!

For the last week, I've been testing the Nespresso Vertuo Next coffee/espresso maker and I love it. Prior to this week, I was not a fan of pod-based coffee makers. The coffee would typically taste watered down or not have a good taste. This Nespresso is nothing like those machines I've used in the past. The coffee is actually good, very frothy, and the espresso is mind blowing. It is some of the best espresso I ever tasted. It truly makes better espresso than a dedicated espresso machine. Every cup I have made so far has been consistently rich, frothy and smooth. Additional features that I liked include: -It is operated by a single button -Slim built and sleek look  -All of the parts feel very premium Also, there was a variety pack of Nespresso pods included with the package. I was able to sample several of the Nespresso pod offerings to see which ones I liked best. As mentioned before, they were all flavorful and delicious.  I highly recommend buying this coffee/espresso maker and also tasting the Stormio pod that is included in the box. You will not be disappointed.

I am not much of a fancy coffee drinker, but my wife does enjoy a wide variety of different coffees. She does like espressos and she really loves this machine. She is not very technical and is always asking me for help with many tasks that I believe to be simple. I let her unbox the Nespresso machine and fully set it up to see how easy it was, and in fact, it was quite simple to get going and use. We have never had a Nespresso or any espresso device in our home before this one showed up. After the initial set up and cleaning process, my wife was looking through the 12 pack of assorted capsules to see what she wanted to try out first. She started with the Espresso ALTISSIO and found it to be flavorful and she enjoyed drinking it. The machine knew exactly what was placed in it by some barcode that you cannot see on the capsules and it will dispense the perfect amount of water for that drink. You have the option to add more water if you press the button within 45 seconds of the process stopping, this is a good option for those of us who may not want a drink as strong. I have used it personally when I tried out the ODACIO coffee capsule. I did enjoy the process of starting up the machine, it is satisfying to push down the top of it and lock it into place before you hit the button to start it up. According to some literature, Nespresso works with some 100k independent farmers around the globe and is committed to being an environmentally responsible company. They even have a way to recycle the aluminum capsules that is as simple as mailing them in envelopes that you can get. I think they come with the capsules as you purchase refills of those. I would highly recommend the Nespresso Vertuo NEXT coffee & espresso machine to all my friends who enjoy coffee. It makes it simple and it is a nice Eco friendly way of enjoying the single use coffees with out feeling bad for the environment.

    Above and beyond a Keurig

Like most people, I had a Keurig to fulfill my coffee needs. As with any Keurig, they work great and will brew you up a cup real quick. Unfortunately, like some Keurig machines, they’re not too reliable. My Keurig died and I wanted something a little better to satisfy my coffee needs. I’ve been quite interested in the Nespresso machines as I’ve heard they brew up a better coffee than other machines. Having used mine for a bit, I can say this is definitely true and I’m quite pleased thus far. Aesthetically, the Nespresso just looks cool compared to a Keurig. It has a narrow footprint and a pleasing, sleek design. My Keurig was quite large so it took up a fair amount of real estate on my counter top. Minor gripe about the Nespresso is that this model has the water tank in the back of the machine. If you have a cluttered counter top, this might prove an issue when it comes time to refill the tank. The first thing about this machine is that you need to flush it prior to your first use. The Keurig was nicer in this respect where you can simply plug it in and fill up the tank. The Nespresso needs a bit more labor to get that first cup of coffee. This model only having one button, you’ll need to review the manual to figure out how to do everything from a setup perspective. Once you get the machine setup, then it’s a simple operation of placing the pod in, locking the machine and pushing the button. Compared to a Keurig, I think this Nespresso is a bit more involved to operate. My Keurig had a touchscreen to easily navigate and operate the machine, whereas the Nespresso just has one button. After you get accustomed to operating the machine, it’s not an issue. One somewhat major issue I had was updating the firmware on the machine. You need to download the companion Nespresso app, pair it with your phone and then update that way. It’s a bit odd having to pair your phone with a coffee machine but that’s the time we live in at the moment. A somewhat neat feature is that once you’re done brewing your coffee, once you open the lid, the pods are kicked back into an internal tray. After a few brews, you can empty out the bin. The coffee from the Nespresso is vastly superior to a Keurig. Keurig’s are great in that it can brew up a cup of coffee quickly and you have an entire universe of brands/flavors to choose from. However, it just tastes like regular old coffee. Granted, the Nespresso brews up espresso however, coffee to coffee, the Nespresso wins in taste. Included with the machine was a sampler pack of pods with quite a few tasty flavors. I prefer flavored brews so the Nespresso has much flavorful brews compared to the Keurig. Overall, what you ultimately want is a great tasting cup of coffee and the Nespresso fills that requirement far better than a Keurig. The Nespresso brews up a creamy, rich tasting cup of coffee. Main issue with the Nespresso are the pods themselves. You can get K-Cups pretty cheap these days. For a 50/60/80 pack, you’re looking around $30-$40; even for some of the “premium” brands. The Nespresso pods are much more expensive. K-Cups, per pod, are low as 30-40 cents. The Nespresso pods I like are roughly $1-$1.50 per pod. Availability is also an issue as they’re not readily available in my area. There are Nespresso stores near me however I have to drive an hour just to get to them. Also, none of my local retailers carry Nespresso pods or the pods I like. I’m forced to purchase pods either through the Nespresso website or other online retailers. That said, the cost increase in pods is fine with me since the coffee is far greater than your average coffee. Getting them is still kind of a pain though. And in terms of variety, there’s not a whole lot of brands that have Nespresso pods. Virtually every coffee brand has K-Cups however Nespresso pods are pretty much whatever Nespresso makes. Hopefully these Nespresso machines will catch up to the level of variety the K-Cups have. For me, this is a great machine. I love the taste of the espresso and the unit seems pretty solid so I’m hoping it’ll last for a while. The machine is simple to operate (once it’s setup) and brews a cup about as fast as a Keurig would. If you want something a little more from you morning cup of brew, you should check this machine out.

The Nespresso Breville Vertuo is an amazing machine that makes some of the best coffee that I have ever tasted. It’s like having your own personal Starbucks in your home. The machine is very simple to use and small enough that it doesn’t take up that much space on the counter. The Vertuo takes small circular pods that come in many different flavors and sizes. In the box came with 12 different samples of coffee and expresso. The machine is pretty advanced in a way that, each pod has a bar code underneath it and this tells the machine how big of a cup it is. For example; they come in 7.77oz, 14oz, 5.07oz, 2.70oz, and 1.35oz. Once it scans the barcode, it will then fill up your cup to what that pod’s size was, no programing necessary. There is a storage area in the center of the machine, so when you open the lid, it will automatically eject the pod and dump it in the storage area, this is very convenient. The Vertuo doesn’t make a lot of noise when brewing your coffee, so if you’re worried about it waking up people in the house, theres no need to be. The coffee is definitely made of premium coffee, I have tried almost all of the samples that came with it, and I have not found one that I didn’t like. It tastes very rich and smooth, and it smells wonderful. The Nespresso has an app that makes ordering coffee and supplies very simple. It is very well designed, and even has a nice layout. I went ahead and ordered some more coffee pods, and they came right to my door in 2 days. Overall, I am very impressed with the Nespresso Vertuo. It is very easy to use, doesn’t make that much noise, and makes the best coffee I have ever tasted. The app makes ordering more coffee a snap, and delivers right to your front door. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys coffee.

    Excellent Coffee and Espresso Maker

The Breville Vertuo Next is an impressive Nespresso coffee maker at an affordable price. It uses the newer Vertuo coffee pods which have variable sizes that determine the type and amount of espresso or coffee that is brewed. The unit is large and looks good while still small enough to fit under most standard cabinets on your countertop. Surprisingly, it is taller and deeper than a Nespresso Latissimo espresso maker, but the extra space is minimal. There’s a couple of nice design changes on this unit compared to my other Nespresso, the reservoir is much easier to remove completely to fill, and the side capture tray for spent pods is easier to remove. Also, the auto-dump mechanism is pretty low-tech but effective, while my Latissimo would sometimes have the pod stick to the perforating spikes requiring me to push it down into the disposal tank. In terms of coffee, each Vertuo pod tells you how many Oz. Of beverage and what type, espresso, double espresso, 7.7oz, 14 oz etc so you need to make sure you have the right sized cup. I used a Bodum double walled cappuccino cup that holds 10oz for most of my drinks and that allowed for the nice Crema and some cream to fit comfortably with the 7.7oz pods. You can use the 14oz pods too for smaller cups but you need to manually stop the flow. I did have an initial problem getting the unit to brew coffee, I had to run the cleaning cycle a few times before the coffee to start brewing but once it did, it makes some excellent coffee. The main difference between these Vertuo pods and Classic pods is that the Vertuo pods can make much more coffee, while the Classic pods seem more geared toward Espresso, Cappucino and Americanos. This difference in pod size and variety is reflected in the cost of the pods themselves, as the Vertuo cost around $1 per pod while the Classic are closer to $.70. The other major difference is there is no milk frothier built-in to this unit. I didn’t mind as I can froth my own milk with a hand frothier, or just pour in some cream and be happy with it. The coffee is extremely hot so the cream is a nice welcome to cool it slightly to allow you to drink it right away. Overall, this is a very impressive unit for coffee drinks who want an alternative to K-cups. It also comes with 10 sample coffee pods so you can get an idea of what you prefer and another 10% off your first order.

Pros - i’m happy to say that the machine doesn’t look or feel cheap, when you open and shut the lid it feels premium - I love the design of the capsule each capsule have their own bar code so the machine can read of what size of espresso/ coffee it should produce, what a great idea, couldn’t believe it - Vertuo next is smiled down design and for me it’s great since I can put it beside my Kcup coffee machine - always wonder how good does coffee taste when using Nespresso compared to my keurig, well it’s a night and day difference, don’t get me wrong I love certain kcup, but the quality of coffee/ latte that i’m drinking from nespresso is more premium flavor. - I love how the machine produces a froth at the end - Nespresso have a ton of flavors to choose from, seems like they are more exclusives as well - inside the machine after you brew your coffee when you open the lid, the capsule will automatically gets thrown away inside a miniature trash bin for the capsule inside the machine. - also have the ability to download the Nespresso app to check where to find nespresso shop near your location or to order new sleeves right at the app itself. - the water tank looks small but honestly it will last you considering you’ll prob make tons of espresso shots to make some latte - not a light machine actually have a good amount of weight - Nespresso have recycle program when you’re done and you can return your old capsule to the company, they will send you a bag for you to mail it back Cons - the app will ask you to connect your Vertuo Next through wifi which I found it pointless, even spoke to a worker inside the store and they think it’s pointless, I don’t see any benefits for connecting it to your home internet which it will just take another space on your wifi. - some places might be harder to find a Nespresso store so your only option might be just buying it through app/online, you will not find coffee sleeves at grocery stores unlike Kcups, but i think Target might. I personally don’t have much negative to say about this machine because it’s that good and my girlfriend and I loving it every day. can’t wait to drink another coffee tonight!

My daughter is the coffee “expert” so when I was seeking a new brewer for her the Nespresso Vertuo NEXT Coffee & Espresso Maker was on my list. The unit is very modern looking with a large capacity clear water reservoir on the rear of the unit which, allowing you to brew several servings and easily see the water you have availalbe. My daughter was very happy with the quality of the coffee brewed and the pods supplied with the unit. The selection of coffee varieties is extensive (see the picture I included in this review). The unit was very easy to setup, we were brewing expresso and regular coffee in short order. The unit has a Bluetooth feature for future use, even though that function is not ready – it is nice to know that capabilities will be added via technology. There is an adjustable cup holder in the front for cups/mugs of various sizes. The pods are easily installed in the unit, with a manual level which locks in the pod, when finished with the pod it ejects into a disposal bin within the unit automatically, gimmicky but somewhat functional. Overall I am happy with this unit and look forward to brews every morning from this unit. Pros: - Modern looking unit - Brews well - Flexibility and ready for feature enhancements - Built in disposal bin for used pods - Adjustable cup tray - Clear reservoir Cons: - None so far

Let’s start by saying that I won’t be comparing this with a higher end expresso maker because that’s not the target of this product. I do own one of those, also a Breville but not Nespresso brand, and can tell you there is no comparison. That being said, there is a lot to like about the Nespresso Breville Vertuo Next Premium. The main reason why we are happy about it is the fact that it is very practical. You pop in a pod of your choice and size and be done in no time. Until I got this, we were using the bigger machine once or twice a week or when we had visits from friends, which have decreased after the pandemic. Now we can enjoy an espresso at least once a day. No prep required. We really enjoyed the fact that it recognizes the pod and adjusts itself accordingly. Also, the variety of pods are great. I can’t have caffeine in the evenings, so we ordered some decaf pods and I now can enjoy my espresso at any time. What? Espresso Decaf? Yeah, I didn’t know that was an option but it is. It may not make sense to some people but it’s better than no coffee at all. As to the features, the first thing I liked was the ease of setting it up and connecting to my phone and WiFi. Be sure to read the instruction carefully. I misread it and thought the lever on the top needed to be locked while pushing the top button and turning it on to pair it with my phone. That did not work and made a big mess because I had water in it. It just had to be unlocked and open. The instruction was actually clear. My fault entirely. I like cool stuff but it has to be practical. Nespresso Breville does something that is both. You pop in the pod, press the top button and when the coffee is ready, you open it up and the pod pops out and then into a built-in bin automatically, ready to be thrown away whenever you want or have time to. It just can’t be quicker and easier than that. I tried to capture that in the sequence of photos attached. I hope you can see it. Both my girlfriend and I really liked every single coffee we tried. Her least favorite was the caramel flavored one but that is just a matter of taste. The only thing that was not as good was the temperature. It is a bit on the warm side. I was wondering if a firmware update could allow the temperature to rise a bit more. If the issue is hardware, then there is no easy fix. It is not bad but to me, the hotter the better. One thing we both missed was a milk frother. We fixed it by ordering one of the same brand because espresso has to have foam for me. Apart from the temperature, which is not as hot as I prefer, Nespresso should allow more than one phone to connect to it at the same time. It doesn’t seem to be possible or I just couldn’t figure it out. For my girlfriend’s iPhone to connect, she had to repeat the paring process, which removed mine. From the app you can order pods and since it comes with a $10 coupon, you can order some immediately. I was tempted to remove one star from my rating due to the not-so-burning temperature but I had to add one for the pod pop-out-and-store-away function and for being so practical that I can have espresso every day now without wasting any time.

I absolutely love the coffee I get from this tiny machine. It’s out of the way. It’s sleek and modern. But you can only order the pods online. That’s like the only down fall. Otherwise, catch it on sale and you’ve found a hidden gem.

I'm so happy with my Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee and Espresso maker. Coffee is smooth and frothy and so delicious. The machine is easy to use and great for small spaces. It is a bit long in length, but sleek and narrow.

This thing is amazing! Easy to use & tastes so good. I don't even have a crazing to go to starbucks anymore. Pods are a little pricey, but to me its worth it.

Well heard and saw a lot of infomercials about this product so finally purchased one from Best Buy at a great price I might add ...Item packed well and only a few things to put together to get the machine online and making a great espresso. Also is included is a variety of coffee pods by Nespresso which helps to get one started in making a good cup of coffee or espresso or cappuccino .My thoughts... Try it. You’ll love the machine and simplicity of use...
