Replaced many times under warranty, constantly breaks, cannot recommend

I like this over the kuerig but it has some cons. The packaging was fully recylcable which is eco friendly. It was pretty easy to unbox and setup. The timing to process the cleaning cycle took a few tries. It cane with a sampler and the double espresso was just like Starb...s. I made some other cups of coffee. I proceeded to place an order for more pods but this is the con. They were $1 each for the shots of espresso and you cannot find them locally which leaves me to purchase and wait for them to come. In a day where shippinng times are long it is frustrating to wait for the coffee. In the end I prefer just to swing by my local coffee shop as the savings at home is not really any better.

Save your money. Don’t buy this Nespresso machine. Right out of the box every brew leaked. The most coffee we could get was 2/3 of a cup with the other third leaking into the capsule container. Didn’t matter what size you brewed, they all leaked. Thankfully Best Buy returned my money.

I have been using Pixie for some time to enjoy Espresso so I am familiar with the quality of Nespresso products. The new Vertuo raises the bar. Now not only can I enjoy Espresso but now I can enjoy many different coffees at various strength levels with or without caffeine. The machine is easy to setup as there are only two items to put in place, the water container and the cup holder. You can even connect it to your home network using a free APP which hopefully in the future will let you brew a cup before getting out of bed. Now the APP can be used to place coffee capsule orders. The machine is quick to heat the water and it knows the correct amount to brew depending on the capsule chosen. You can change the amount to brew if you have a preference different from what Nespresso has chosen as optimal. It is a one lever and one button operation, quick and simple. The large 7.7 ounce brew takes less than 2 minutes to brew a delicious coffee. The quality and flavor of the various coffees and Espressos is second to none. You will not be disappointed.

Really disappointed. The box was completely destroyed and you could tell it was shipped from the store in that condition because of the Best Buy tape it had. Had to give it as a gift, so embarrassed. They haven’t used it yet. Best Buy continues to disappoint every. Single. Time!

First off, I'm not entirely sure why this is a connected device. There's an app that helps you to get it set up on your home network and then the app is useless for anything other than ordering more pods. Unfortunately that's the only way to find pods, too. I can't find the newer Vertuo pods anywhere except to order from Nespresso or a couple other sites. There is mention of Nespresso "Boutiques" that carry them, but I have none that are convenient for me. If you're expecting to run to the grocery store to get pods, you likely won't find them. I'm hoping this changes soon. The pods themselves have barcodes around the outside that the machine reads and uses to ensure the proper temperature and pressure are set for that particular blend. This ensures good coffee and espresso, but I'm not big on what equates to DRM on physical objects. The espresso does come out very good with a nice rich foam on top and excellent flavor. While brewing, however, the machine makes a lit of noise. A lot. I've had other single-cup brewers and have never heard anything like this before. It makes a loud pump sound and some kind of loud whirring sound in unison. So much so that I need to announce I'm making coffee so my wife can pause the TV. Also, I've had it "lock up" on me once and refuse to brew. A quick online search revealed that I had to unplug the machine and wait a minute, then plug it back in. It worked from there. I'm certain that with some updates and better availability of pods I will enjoy the machine more, but it just doesn't seem ready yet.

I am in love with this product! The Nespresso, Breville Vertuo is a great concept that is likened to Keurig cups; however, pods are used. Let me first start off with how cool the design is as its tall, sleek and slender which makes this staple an easy fit in most kitchens. I know, I have chosen it as my go-to, due to the fact, I live alone as I only drink 1-2 cups of coffee a few times throughout the week. I tried the Expresso single and the taste was rich and frothy as such it digests velvety -smooth. I will note, the brewing process is lighting fast as a cup of coffee is ready for drinking in no time! I was not familiar with Nespresso as this is my first rodeo with this brand, but from a practical standpoint, I like this product as well as the concept. Suffice to say, I’ll be using it for many years to come!

Ordered a brand new one and received a used open box. Its ridiculous to have received something that was obviously opened and returned. I returned it back to the store..

Worked really well when we first purchased this but now its a struggle to get it to seal properly so it will brew the coffee. It’s takes several tries and wastes several pods before it will work properly.

I am a coffee drinker; I drink 2 to 3 cups a day and have for most of my life. My daily drinking habits tend to consist of a cup of whatever was in a big can and was cheap. Not to say that I have not tried a vast variety of other brands, it is just that nothing has ever made me go "Oh this is Soo much better". I add enough creamer and sugar to my cup that who cares... This attitude might be forever broken. True story, since I watched Hudson Hawk as a little guy, I have always had a taste for cappuccino. Anytime I visit a coffee house, I order a cappuccino or macchiato. But the next morning, I drink whatever. Testing out the Nespresso I knew that this item was for a more defined palette but was intrigued and wanted to give it a shot anyway. Since receiving the Nespresso Vertuo my taste world with relation to coffee has been changed and I have no real explanation for it. Setup was quick and easy, the machine just needs the water tank filled, placed on the back, and the cup cradle positioned if you are using it. The unit is about as tall as a normal coffee maker but much narrower. The unit is exceptionally beautiful on my countertop with a glossy black and chrome finish. Nespresso knew what they were doing by adding a variety pack with the unit. I chose to try one flavor a day (that did not last long) and was hooked by the third day. Each cup is bold, aromatic, a bit frothy, and the taste is exquisite. I have already picked several favorites and will not be pulling the traditional coffee maker back out of the pantry. If I have one complaint, it would be that that Nespresso set themselves apart from the competition and changed their cup styles from the top of mind awareness one that we all know to a Nespresso original. But then went further and made another cup variant for this Vertuo. To which I am not mad about the cup deal, just that finding the cups at the present is not the easiest and I am having to order online directly from Nespresso instead of picking them up at a local retailer. There is however a plus side that Nespresso gives a discount off your first order and will even send you a recycle bag to send the used cups back. In short, testing and using the Nespresso Breville Vertuo has changed my coffee enthusiasm. I am far from an espresso sommelier, but I am definitely a connoisseur.

This Nespresso bundle came with a box of pods/capsules that were made in March 2019 and expired in March 2020. I just purchased this in September 2020.

This machine did not work. It would not exit the cleaning or descaling mode. I never got it to make coffee, had to return it. Fortunately the replacement I ordered works fine.

Stay away from this product. Didn’t last one month! It was leaking badly and Best Buy wanted me to pay for shipping to return which cost more than the actual product!

This is the best coffee maker I ever owned. This does not take up a lot of space on my counter and it looks nice in my kitchen with my other appliances. Setup took a little while but once that was done, making coffee was a breeze. I like that you can brew espresso, so now I can quickly make a cup of Cuban coffee without all of the work. The taste and quality of the coffee is the best you can get at home. This also improved the iced coffee I make at home. The only problem is that I can not get the pods in any stores in my area, so I'm stuck ordering online. Overall, I am real happy with this

I had to return it after 6× of using it.Did not turn on

The set up is pretty simple and straight forward. You can set up the machine to work with your phone but i am used to doing it manually. There is not many options to set up the machine to make your coffee a certain way, it mostly comes from the coffee pods. There is a great variety of coffee pods and what type of coffee they make. You get a sample box that lets you try some of the flavors and also shows you the other flavors they offer, what kind of coffee, and the strength they have. Overall this is a great machine for coffee lovers that would like to try something new

This is the best brewing machine. The coffee tastes wonderful, smooth and frothy, well blended. Best cup of coffee ever! The machine itself has a great flow, compact design with a great water container. Pop in a pod, lock the top and push the button. It's a quiet brewing system that reads the barcode and then makes the perfect cup of coffee. Then, when you open it back up it automatically pops the used pod into a container! They thought of everything! I definitely recommend Nespresso for the smoothest, easiest cup of coffee. If you are thinking about this one versus another brand, I would say buy this one - you won't be sorry!

Great coffee. Worked great for about 5 months. Then it wouldn't stop with the 2 orange light blinks. Search youtube for this issue, you'll see over 160,000 views for one of the videos to fix this issue. It didn't work for me. Until the company recognizes this as a legitimate issue on the website, I wouldn't touch this model.
