Worked great till today. Now a month in and the coffee is spilling from under or on the side of the machine, making a mess everywhere. Its made a huge noise and it shakes twice. Maybe i got a bad one. Exchanging for the same one. Hopefully the second one works fine since i wasted a little over $100 dlls in accessories and cool products lol

The Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ arrived in sleek, eco-friendly packaging, which was a great start. Unboxing it felt premium—everything was snugly packed and well-organized. Inside, I found the machine, a starter set of Vertuo pods, and a user manual that made setup incredibly straightforward. The machine requires only a quick rinse, a fill of the water reservoir, and a simple plug-in to be coffee-ready. Within minutes, I was set up and ready to brew my first cup, a perfect example of how easy Breville has made the process. The Matte Black Gold finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it both stylish and modern. It’s compact yet has a presence, fitting comfortably on my counter without taking up too much space. The gold accents give it a high-end feel, making it as much a decor piece as a coffee machine. It has clean, minimal lines, and all its controls are accessible without looking cluttered. The Vertuo Pop+ doesn’t just brew one type of coffee; it’s designed for versatility. I tested it with a variety of Vertuo pods, brewing everything from an intense espresso shot to a longer coffee for a relaxing afternoon. It even brews cold coffee, a refreshing option on hotter days. The range of cup sizes means you can get a small espresso or a full mug-sized coffee, depending on your preference, just with a pod swap. I loved that each pod has a unique barcode, automatically adjusting brewing time and temperature for an optimized experience. One of the standout features has to be the foam. Each cup, regardless of size or type, has a nice, velvety crema that adds a barista-like finish. It adds texture and flavor to each sip, making even a quick cup feel luxurious. This foam is one of the hallmarks of the Nespresso experience, and the Vertuo Pop+ lives up to that reputation, consistently producing a nice crema on top of each brew. Using this machine couldn’t be simpler. You just pop in a pod, close the lever, and press a button. The machine reads the barcode on the pod and adjusts automatically. The used pods are ejected into a container that’s easy to empty, and the machine itself has a relatively easy clean-up routine. After each use, a quick wipe and rinse are all that’s needed. Even the drip tray is removable for cleaning, and the fact that there are no complex parts makes regular maintenance a breeze. The Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ by Breville in Matte Black Gold is a solid choice for coffee lovers who want variety, convenience, and quality in every cup. From the easy unboxing and setup to the consistent brew quality with that creamy foam on top, it brings the café experience home without the mess or fuss. With options for both hot and cold coffee, in multiple sizes, it’s incredibly versatile. For anyone wanting a high-end coffee experience with minimal hassle, the Vertuo Pop+ is definitely worth considering.

I recently got my hands on the Nespresso Limited-Edition Vertuo Pop+ Coffee and Espresso Maker by Breville in Matte Black Gold, and let me tell you, it’s like having a mini barista right in my kitchen! First off, the design is super sleek and stylish, and it has given my kitchen a very elegant look.. It fits perfectly in my kitchen and adds a touch of elegance. Using it is super easy : just pop in a pod, press a button, and voilà! You’ve got a delicious cup of coffee or espresso in no time. The variety of coffee sizes and the quality of the brew are top-notch. The coffee tastes amazing, with a rich flavor and perfect crema every single time. It’s like a coffee shop experience without leaving the house! One of my favorite features I like about this is the removable water tank.. so easy to refill and clean. Plus, the machine heats up faster so there’s no waiting around for my morning cup of joy. Overall, I highly recommend the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ for anyone looking to elevate their coffee game. It’s a fantastic addition to any kitchen and makes every morning feel a little more special. Cheers to great coffee!

Our family are die hard coffee drinkers. We especially love gourmet flavored coffees as a treat even as a dessert beverage. Our first exposure to Nespresso coffee was during a family vacation in Amsterdam. Our hotel room had a machine we had never seen before and the pods were a curiosity since we had only used K-Cup coffee makers. My adult son was the first to make a cup and we were impressed with the flavor and the foamy richness so we were sold on Nespresso so much so that I bought both my adult kids and myself a huge Nespresso machine and assortment pack of flavored pods. The tricky part back then was there was the classic Nespresso pods available at few places in the US but the European style pods that are more rounded where hard to find and we would typically have to order online. Now the European rounded style pods and varieties of flavors are much easier to find. After many years my original big Nespresso machine needed replacement and I was excited to get my hands on the new Vertuo Pop+ from Breville. The limited edition matte black and gold is a very stylish edition to our kitchen. Maybe as a precursor to the stylish flavors that it will make. The size is quite a bit smaller than my previous machine so it takes up less counter space but doesn't compromise on quality of the brew. It was also a welcome treat that they included a variety pack of pods along with the maker. It gives you a chance to find the flavor or brew strength that you prefer. After a quick rinse and flushing of clean water I tossed in a Vanilla pod, locked the lid and pressed brew. One single button operation, can't get any simpler than that. Soon after you hear the whir of the POP+ and the foamy rich brew fills the my cup. Breville makes a frother (not included) that we use to foam up our favorite creamer or even just milk. I don't know why the foamy richness makes a better cup of coffee but we love it. The pods have a coded ring around the bottom edge that the machine reads and knows what size of coffee to brew, similar to the other major brand. Results are a perfect cup every time. If you haven't tried a pod coffee maker you should consider Nespresso branded Breville POP+. I don't think you will be disappointed. Tasty!!!!

Design: Attractive, small footprint, extremely easy to use 1 button control, automatically ejects and stores used pods in built in compartment (easy to empty). There is an adjustable cup holder so that a small or “mug” size cup is easily accommodated. The holder also serves to control any drips, and is very easy to rinse/clean. Quality of coffee: absolutely superb tasting coffee. It is not only the wide availability of coffee pod taste choices, to include decaf instead and half caffeinated. Note: it is the crema/froth produced for every cup that sets this coffee maker in a class by itself. I also own a Nespresso Original pod coffee maker, but this Virtuo pod Nespresso coffee maker is in its own class. The crema eliminates, for me, the need to add any cream or sweetener . I do not have to pick the quantity of coffee desired such as Lungo, espresso, ristretto. The coffee maker reads the pod and automatically selects the precise quantity of coffee such as “X” ounces. The temperature of the coffee is (IMHO) perfect every time, and delivered very quickly. Software/Application/Website: extremely easy to use for instructions re maintenance such as scale removal, ordering coffee pods, setting up recurring deliveries, and modifying/cancelling delivery schedules.

The Nespresso Vertuo is a stylish coffee and espresso machine that promises a convenient and high-quality brew. Its minimalist design, accented with the brass trims, adds a touch of luxury to the kitchen countertop. The machine's sturdy build and sleek finish give it a premium-quality feel. However, a minor oversight in the design is the absence of measurement markers on the water reservoir. This makes it challenging to gauge the exact water level, especially when brewing multiple cups. The reservoir is easy to pull out and refill with water, and snaps back in position effortlessly. A Simplified Brewing Experience Operating the Vertuo is incredibly easy. The machine's barcode scanning technology automatically adjusts brewing parameters for each capsule, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This simplicity is ideal for those who prefer a hassle-free coffee experience. While the lack of customization options may disappoint some coffee connoisseurs, it's a trade-off for convenience. There are a multitude of options to choose from and one needs to go through trial and error to find out the pod that suits them the best. Coffee Quality: A Mixed Bag The Vertuo excels in producing rich, bold coffee with a velvety crema, especially for espresso shots. The variety of Nespresso capsules offers a wide range of flavor profiles to suit different preferences. However, lighter roast coffees can sometimes appear diluted due to the preset brewing parameters. Maintenance: A Breeze The Vertuo is designed for easy maintenance, with removable parts like the drip tray, water reservoir, and pod container that are simple to clean. There is an auto cleaning/rinsing option which is nice and easy to use. Additionally, a Nespresso Vertuo Descaling Kit is available, but we haven't needed to use it during our week of use. There is a holder for collecting some pods, so you can use them a few times before you need to clean. There’s an option for recycling the Aluminum pods from Nespresso when you order a refill, which is nice. Final Thoughts The Nespresso Vertuo is an excellent choice for those who prioritize convenience and style. It consistently produces good-quality coffee with minimal effort. However, some users may find the limited brewing customization options to be a drawback. Despite a few minor shortcomings, the Vertuo's sleek design and user-friendly operation make it a compelling option for coffee enthusiasts seeking a hassle-free way to enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Perfect Coffee Maker for a home office

While most people would use this coffee maker for their home in the kitchen, I am using this in my Home Office as I find it hard at times to walk to the Kitchen during meeting so I was looking for something compact and contained. This coffee make is perfect, it uses pods, so no mess/spilt grounds. The coffee pods keep the coffee fresh so I don't have to worry if I don't use them all at once and they make a decent cup of coffee that is perfect to keep you on the go. Setup of the coffee maker was easy, just fill with water, plug in and your ready for your coffee. The nice thing this included a vareity of the different types of coffee pods so you can get going/survive your office meetings rate away and can figure out what coffee suits you. Use of the coffee machine is easy, unlock, enter pod lock press button, ensure your coffee cup is in place and then enjoy. They have an interesting cup holder for the brew that you can adjust the height, just push in. Also this coffee maker looks great and fits in an office and you have coffee on hand. So if you need something for your Office/Home Office this is diffently a winner.

Simple, fast and compact brewing machine

The Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ is an oddly shaped, short and stocky coffee machine, whose design may not appeal to everyone. It kind of reminds me of a small sewing machine. It’s slender in some places while simultaneously thick and bulky in others (exact dimensions according to Nespresso are 8.6 x 14 x 10.4 in). It is also surprisingly heavy (it’s 7.9 pounds) and was harder to remove from the box than I expected. Despite its weight, this machine is very compact and won’t take up too much counter space. I recommend it for people who have tiny kitchens or live in apartments. The chord to the device is long enough to accommodate most kitchens depending on your setup; however, if you are planning on creating an elaborate coffee bar setup, you may want to purchase one of those multi-outlet power strips to add some length. Speaking about its design, a pro about the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ are the color options it comes in. Specifically, the standard version of the Vertuo Pop+ comes in 12 colors ranging from neutral tones like their coconut white, black, and dark gray to fun and bright colors such as candy pink, pacific blue, spicy red, and aqua mint. My favorite out the selection is the mango yellow. As its name implies, the fun colors are meant to serve as a “pop” of color in your kitchen, a more creative take on the standard coffee machine. If bright colors aren’t your thing and you are someone with more sophisticated, yet simple taste, the deluxe Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ models come in deluxe silver and deluxe titan. I have the limited-edition matte black and gold version; the machine is mostly black with gold accents and the gold is rather pretty. There is also a limited-edition, all-matte black version that is sleek and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The Nespressp Vertuo Pop+ (released in 2023) is meant to be a smaller alternative to the Nespresso Vertuo Next (released in 2020). Since it is meant to fit in kitchens with limited space, it comes with a smaller water tank. While the Vertuo Next comes with a 37 oz water tank capacity, the standard Vertuo Pop+ has a 25 oz water tank capacity. It is worth noting that the deluxe and limited-edition Vertuo Pop+ models will come with a 37 oz water tank, which is a nice perk because it means having to fill up the tank less frequently. Just because the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ is a smaller Nespresso machine doesn’t mean it can’t brew a lot of coffee, so I appreciate having the larger tank on the limited-edition Vertuo Pop+. The main purpose of buying the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ over traditional espresso machines is ease of use and the fact that it makes both espresso AND coffee. While you cannot use the traditional Nespresso pods on the Vertuo Pop+ due to the different shape of the pods (a traditional Nespresso capsule will not fit in the Vertuo Pop+ machine), Nespresso does make a special Vertuo line of coffee and espresso pods. I am more of a coffee drinker than I am an espresso person, and I like having options, so the fact that the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ makes coffee just as well as it makes espresso makes me feel I will get full use out of this machine. The machine does not require and special settings or programming. All you have to do is open the lid, pop in your pop of choice, close the lid, and then push the sole button on the machine. After the machine finishes heating up the water (takes about 30 seconds to finish heating the water), the Vertuo Pop+ gets right to work brewing your beverage. Yes, the coffee brews hot; you will not have any temperature complaints or “weak” coffee from this machine. A plus side of the machine is that it cuts off by itself after it finishes brewing which eliminates any concern of leaving it on by mistake. I also like that, if necessary, I can force stop the machine during a coffee/espresso brew by pressing the power button twice. There are some cons to the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ in my opinion. For starters, the Vertuo Pop+ is extremely loud. If you are accustomed to using Nespresso machines, this will not come as a surprise to you. But if this is your first Nespresso machine, you may be concerned that your machine is broken or that something is wrong; that is how obnoxiously loud the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ is. I find this incredibly annoying, particularly early in the morning when I most want peace and quiet. Another con I have is how hard it is to close the lid of the machine. While turning the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ on is simple, and while the machine auto turns off while not in use, closing the darn thing is difficult. It's not like I must force it to close. I don’t have to use brute strength, but it is awkward to close due to the very stiff latch the machine uses to lock the lid in place. Turning the latch doesn’t feel like a smooth, natural process, and that is what i dislike the most about the Vertuo Pop+. While the machine feels well made, I am concerned about accidentally breaking the latch by merely turning it. The latch seems like a design flaw to me. My last con relates to the pods used in the Nespresso Vertuo Pop+. I appreciate that the machine comes with a sample pack of coffee and espresso with varied strengths; however, Nespresso coffees are some of the most bitter tasting and strongest, boldest tasting coffees I've ever had. If you are not a fan of strong coffee, you will not like the taste of their pods. Also, their coffee pods do not come in as many varieties as the traditional Nespresso pods do; they have numerous flavors of espresso, but they only have 7 coffees. Aside from the Starbucks Nespresso Vertuo pod line, there are no alternative brands collaborating with Nespresso for Nespresso's Vertuo pod line, so you’re limited to specifically Nespresso (and Starbucks) manufactured Vertuo pods. It would be nice if Nespresso partnered with Dunkin, Mcdonalds and Krispy Creme, etc. to make pods branded for the Vertuo line. Another coffee-related con to the Vertuo Pop+ line is the difficulty in finding these pods. Most stores near me don’t carry the Vertuo line, so I can’t walk into just any store to pick up a box. Lastly, the Vertuo pods are very expensive compared to the traditional Nespresso pods and other competitors.
