I’m still getting use to it. It’s a cool assistant hub that speaks to most wireless device in the home. Easy to manage that way remote on the hub or by saying “hey google”. Pros: I have enjoyed setting alarm, playing relaxing music watching YouTube directly or it being link to play request on my tv. There are many features. Cons: I purchased this as a way to view my security systems set up. One, I which it had split screens to show multiple angles. The issue I have experienced is that the live feed will freeze on the screen. I then would have to unplug it to reset. Another is that it does not stay on too long stating feed not available. So great for entertainment not as great for security purposes.

Im very electronically challenged, but the set up was a breeze. If im watching a show, I can cast bring it with me to another room with the Nest. No longer have to search for soothing sounds for sleep, just ask google to play some. Get the outside weather/temp, with just a question. Tune to my favorite radio stations, with just a command. Turn the volume/lighting up/down, with just a command. Find out my sleep patterns and suggestions on how to improve it. I love it!!

I bought two of these to pair with my new Nest Doorbell, among other tasks. It paired easily with the doorbell and lights, and it also serves as a great entertainment option on my own or with guests. The small screen produces an excellent picture and the sound quality is very good.

I recently purchased the Neat Smart Display with Google Assistant and I am absolutely thrilled with it! It is incredibly easy to set up and use, and the voice recognition is spot on. The display is bright and clear and the sound quality is good enough. I love being able to ask Google questions and get answers right away. It's also the perfect little jukebox when paired with YouTube Music.

Absolutely love this little gadget for my newly acquired smart home. Easy to install. Price was right. Some days are more challenging than others, but Google and I are finally being able to communicate. I finally figured out that he is not a mind reader. You have to be more precise with what you ask. I'm a senior citizen that is trying to enter the 21st century. So I am learning to be more patient with google as well as myself.

For context, let me be clear that I've never before owned or used a smart home hub device with a display so my experience with this product marks my first time. Here are my take-aways: First, Google assistant is responsive via voice and after using for about a week I can say this little guy picked up what I was saying accurately about 9/10 times or more. For whatever reason, Google devices tend to work more reliably with my hue lights than Apple's HomeKit or using other 3rd party apps, so that was solid as well. Also, this little thing is surprisingly decent for watching a quick YouTube video at my office desk or catching the news headlines during downtime. All good things, but here's where things fall apart: There's only limited app support so what you've got in the latest update is it. While I'm happy this thing has Netflix and Spotify, it'd sure be nice if it had at least 2 or 3 more mainstream options for streaming video. The real kicker for me though, is that I can't believe Android people put up with these interface issues and poor user experience. The system looks dated and its laggy as all heck - it feels like this thing is running with a 5 year old (or older) chip inside of it! Don't even bother using your finger or the gestures as the lag will frustrate you into just giving up and using your voice instead. I'm legitimately surprised that this is Google's gen2 "Nest hub" experience. I seriously expected more. All of that said, the sound quality is tolerable and the fact that this one will play video at all while I've been told the larger one doesn't is mind-boggling, so that's a plus. Am I satisfied with it? I guess so... but I don't think I'd ever pay full price or buy a second one without Google making improvements. Yes, yes, I understand this is the hub doing the most at its price range but the truth (for me) is that the Christmas sale price is what made it worth it for me and I couldn't see myself spending full retail for something this clunky and half-baked. It's like someone at Google had great ideas about life with ambient computers helping us and then outfitted said computers with gen1 Android processors and cheap parts. Not an ideal experience, seriously.

I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day. She likes it. The male voice was a nice change from Alexa. The antenna is good enough to reach her fav radio station that is 100 miles away and the screen is beautiful. We’ve experienced one of the software issues that worried me when considering it but then again we’re not doing anything complex on it. Nice also that logging into it via google account means it’s much better at suggesting music she likes because of her watch history on YouTube.

I can easily play music with this small item. Fast and reliable.

It just what I needed very informative and easy to program

If you have $100, buy one of these instead of the Apple mini speaker. You get a colorful, touch-friendly screen, a very loud speaker, it acts as a hub, a Bluetooth speaker, and it can control all your smart home devices by voice or by navigating the screen. It plays YouTube videos right out of the box and understands you even if you're chewing food.

Perfect, if you have a Google Echo system, just grab one of these in each room and you're good to go. Snappy, easy setup

I must say, for the cyber deal of $49 each, i was able to get 2 for 1. Previously has echo show 5s. This blows it out of the water! Bigger, clearer screen. Sounds pretty amazing, considering its size! There is sooo much customization as per usual with google products. So definitely make sure to go thru them all in the app. Highly recommend!

I think it is one of the best gadgets I've ever had. I have been looking for a speaker but also I want my favorite pictures to display. I love how I can just say whatever I want like turning on my lights or setting my alarm and even playing for Spotify!

Great home assistant. The new features for this assistant makes this unit a must have for any home. The reminders are great and the device is small enough to place anywhere in the home. The 2nd generation features makes this unit a great addition to your automated home features, from security to managing additional appliances all linked into iOT.

My whole house is set up with google and having a small monitor in the kitchen or by the night stand or on the bathroom counter. Can easily say “Hey Google, Good morning.” And the device will play and some times show you bideo of news highlights and more. Or you can program your own phrases as well like Coffee Time or Sock on the door knob… lol

Got this as a gift. The set up was very simple and quick! Once set up was complete, connecting it to my smart lights were very simple. The screen size is perfect. Just big enough to watch a instructional and small enough to be out of the way. I love being able to see and control all of my devices in one place.

Very pleased with all of our Nest products, especially this one. It provides all the functionality of a Nest Hub Max without a camera. The lack of a camera is a necessity for our purchase as this Nest Hub is on a desk that happens to be in a sleeping area. Very happy with this product, would highly recommend it and have purchased others as Christmas for family members.
