I haven’t had this hub very long. I’m sure I’ve only scratched the surface. I bought it to go along with my Google Security system. So far it doesn’t do much with the security system and it has a male voice that I haven’t found out how to change. I do like the way it connects to my tv, but you have to be Very Specific in your instructions. I only found this out when I was “hey googling” it, and the tv started responding. Very frustrating in the beginning. As I played around with it, I found the response time was very slow. That’s why I gave it a 4. I’ll have to give it more time to find out what else it can do for me.

There are so many reason to love the Google Nest Hub 7". I have the Max in my Kitchen/Dining Room area to view recipes, stream movies while cooking or setting at the island working on my laptop, etc. I bought the 7" Nest Hub for my bedroom to view my outdoor security cameras when i get an alert at night, as a digital photos (that's me in the movie Social Animals), control my smart home devices, play games, stream movies, music, video calls (no camera) other great things you can do with your Google Nest Hub. I grouped my Nest Hub with my Google Speaker located in another room to play music; I can even place my google speaker aside my Nest Hub to create a surround sound when watching movies which I plan to purchase another speaker for this purpose.

Although it's not perfect, I'm very happy with this product. I replace a mini with the hub. I like that it has a display, better sounds, and a hand gesture feature. It takes a little time to get used to the navigation, though. You also cannot download additional apps. Although you can play Spotify and view some of your playlists, you can't download a full Spotify app which is a negative for us. Sirus XM also doesn't work as smoothly. Otherwise, we are very happy with its design, photo album, voice command, hand gesture, etc. It's a must-have for a smart home.

The lack of camera makes duo calls with video option unnecessary. Google seems to be having lots of bugs and you may have a difficult time trying to register for the sleep sensor feature to be enabled. The media interaction leaves a lot to be desired as you can't see your playlists to choose from only the recommendations list (speaking for Spotify, I don't use any other music apps) Improved sound and mic means better interactive experience. I greatly enjoy the dim screen and nighttime schedule options. As with most of Google products, sometimes the foundation of Google itself is what let's down the items that depends on Google network improvement and software updates. Overall not a bad purchase but as compared to Amazon products, Google is a bit behind the curve.

overall, I love the design. bezels could be thinner but it doesn't bother me too much. Speakers are good for a digital assistant and the display resolution is much better than a previous echo show I had. (I upgraded because my echo show started displaying tons of lines across the screen). Im a little worried about burn-in issues with this display as it doesn't refresh and move the time into different places like the show did. OH and sleep sensing is so cool! I haven't compared it with my Apple Watch but it does seem pretty accurate.

Love it. Second one i bought. I use it on the kitchen island, i can read recipes or it reads them for you. Displays my calendar and when im not using it i have it cycling through photos.

I absolutely love the Nest Hub! The speaker quality is impressive for its size, providing clear and vibrant sound. It essentially offers all the convenience of the Google Home app without needing to use your phone, making it an indispensable addition to my smart home setup.

Overall great experience, it responds very well and the sound output is excellent, it could use a better software interface and a better variety of Lock screens.

Bought this because it was on sale and had a little extra money. Honestly one of the best things I could have done. Since I bought it I use it all the time and ended up buying the thermostat and minis for all around the house. Bought a second one for my grandmother as she is getting older and she loves it that she can call me on duo.

Solid display giving you easy access to voice service and quality sound experience. Sleep tracking def helps to better analyze your sleep data as well.

I like the different colors they added as well as the fact that it is easily operable and doesnt seem like a difficult device to understand.

Well, I keep my whole entire schedule on Google calendars and this little device helps. Keep me on track it sent it right to my phone and or Apple Watch it is super easy to use a child could learn to use this voice activated a senior citizens blessing when it comes to sending reminders for medication and or appointment

Exactly what we wanted. Yhe connection between all our accounts works great. The only negative, I wish you could have a larger calendar view. Super convenient for shopping liats, playing musix, etc.

We placed it in our Kitchen , and it has become a life saver! We use it for so so many things! Timer, for recipes, music, our grandkids watch YouTube videos when eating etc etc So loved by our guests we bought them for our family for Christmas as well! Guaranteed a hit for anyone!!!

Very user friendly and easy to set up. I have the whole google eco system so I love the ability to see when someone is at the door. It also is a nice addition to my home as I am able to display my photo slide show.

I love the sleep tracking functionality, I also have an Apple Watch but I prefer to charge it at night. I do find that the UI lags sometimes, which is the main reason I won't give it 5 stars. Also, on the odd occasion it accidentally thinks I said Hey Google when I didn't.

One of my favorite devices! I initially bought one for my office but quickly went back two weeks later to get another for my bedroom. I use it literally every day! It keeps me productive in the office, I listen to music, watch videos, and even control the lights in my home. I absolutely love it! I'd purchase one for every room!

It's cute and I enjoy the fact that it doesn't have a camera. It synced seamlessly and works well with my other devices. It has a decent sound for a bedroom, I wouldn't want to put this in the living room or family room unless you're not using it to play louder music. Overall I debated weather out not I really needed it over just a speaker with better sound but I'm glad I made this purchase
