Nice and compact, easy set-up to control your smart switches and also get searches answered. Small enough to not be noticeable in the room yet loud enough to play music on. Don't expect surround sound quality, but still nice for background music.

The google nest mini is an amazing product that has incredible sound quality for its size and can be put virtually anywhere, on walls with the built in wall mount, and on any other surface with the rubber base. Setup is also easy, and range is long with Bluetooth!

The sound is pretty good on these and fits nicely in areas where the Nest hubs are not setup. This mini was super simple to setup and takes commands just like the other Google assistant devices. Recommend for the smaller rooms like an office or even in the entry way area.

I have five of these throughout my apartment and I absolutely love them!! A must have for a smart apartment where controls the lights, the TVs, the news, and the music!

I switched into the Google system after frustrations with Alexa's AI and enduring privacy frustrations with Amazon. These nest minis are a great intro into the system. The size/materials fit in well with most home decor, and the various plug/holder options provide some flexibility for placement. The nest mini has surprisingly good sound quality, and integration with Google Assistant is easy. I have been happy with the set-up from my Apple products. I have been impressed with the voice detection when streaming music. This is the best compact smart speaker that I have used. Great value and entry point for potentially exploring more of the Google Assistant home ecosystem. Recommend.

easy installation, compatible with many devices, good voice use

I'm happy with the 2nd generation Nest Mini since it now has several key improvements that really make it stand out from the previous model, and have made it a tool a use all the time now as opposed to rarely as with the old model. The Bluetooth is practically perfect, with the old model it would constantly drop out and glitch, but the Nest has no problems keeping up with my phone. There's noticeably better sound, specifically the bass is much more substantial, it won't impress bass heads but I think considering it's physical sizer it is adequate. It picks up on my commands much quicker then the old model. Overall I don't think the old model was bad, it worked fine (minus the crappy bluetooth) but since I absolutely needed good bluetooth it just wasn't cutting it. Happy to say they fixed that issue on the new model.

Very happy with my google nest mini I used to have a google home before this but I took a chance in upgrading because some people claimed this was a superior model. They were not incorrect automatically you notice they have different color led lights haha more attractive to the eye. Music sounds clearer not a huge bass presence but this isn't the speaker for that, easy to connect to things like Wi-Fi lights and the home app is very well built and easy to maneuver easily one of googles best inventions and cant imagine living without it nothing like randomly walking and then telling google to play your favorite song to dance to and it happens. I got mine on sell for 29.99 which I feel is more than fair for this quality of speaker.

I have several of these throughout my house, and they work great. I have most of the features turned off because I use them for the voice command to turn lights on and off, but it just the job perfectly I literally have one in my living room, and it works for my living room, kitchen, and dining room perfectly

I've been looking to smart up my house and this google assistant has been great it definitely helps with controlling other appliances within our household. I would definitely recommend it's easy to use and even easier to set up definitely a need in any household.

The Nest Mini is a great sounding speaker for its size, and it doesn't break the bank to buy it. I purchased a 2nd speaker to combine as a stereo pair which provides a full sound to the shop building where I use them. I simply drove two small nails on the wall close to electrical outlets on which to hang them. Set up is straightforward and takes very little time. It combines nicely with other Nest products, such as the doorbell. When someone is at the front door of the house, Nest Mini tells me when I'm in the shop. It interacts well with music services, such as Pandora. I also listen to ball games on radio stations just by asking Google to play them. Streaming from a device also works well.

I got this mostly so that I wouldn't have to keep moving my Bluetooth speaker from the bedroom to downstairs and back again when playing music. I got the Google Hub for Christmas and was able to link them as a "speaker group", so I don't have to pause my music when leaving the bedroom to go down to the kitchen. But, I can also have it so that the music only plays to the speaker that I want it to. So far, I have used it for so much more! I can start and stop music; find out the name of the song playing; lower the volume; and set timers when baking, all without touching anything. I'm sure there are a lot of other things it can be used for as well. The sound quality is great. It's surprisingly loud, but not the headache inducing loud. Overall worth it!

This is our 2nd mini, both in coral (not that the color really matters) one in our living room now one in our bedroom and the hub is in our kitchen. We LOVE these things!! We use them pretty much everyday and night to turn things on and off we use the Kasa smart plugs for everything else they are google compatible to play music for timers for weather they come in very handy for everything and everyday use. Haven’t let us down yet. This thing even starts our robotic vacuum!!

This is the third one I’ve received as a gift from Best Buy. A great add on to the purchase, and a great gift for Christmas. They are a small package with a big punch! Effortless set up, great sound quality and worth the buy.

I recently started converting my house into a smart home. I was indecisive about going the Google or Alexa route and ultimately decided on Google. Anyway, I have various speakers and wanted a smaller one that I could potentially move around the house as needed. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this speaker because it is so small but it has been great. It now permanently resides in our bathroom. It is perfect for the small room and is more than loud enough for it. The sound is great. Doesn’t offer much in terms of bass but overall it is great. I love that I can ask it what time it is when I know I’ve taken a long shower and need to know the time haha

The nest mini has always worked for me and this one is no different. Easy to hide in plain sight, or mount on the wall somewhere. I used this one in my daughter's clouds.

We have a few of these scattered throughout the house now and have linked them in groups so we can play in different rooms or the whole downstairs. It works pretty well once you learn how to talk to Google. For the price, they are a decent investment and provide good background sound all over the house.

Let me start off by saying, if your expectations are to have a smart speaker that also sounds like a jbl or Bose Bluetooth speaker, this speaker will disappoint you. The google nest mini does a great job at being a smart speaker and also your basic Bluetooth speaker to stream music but it will not wow you if you are a bass head or a Bluetooth speaker junky. When speaking to google assistant, it has enough volume for you to hear it over something like a microwave in the background or the tv on low volume or even a frying pan when using it in the kitchen like I am. I personally have this speaker attached under a kitchen cabinet with a Velcro strap and so far it has responded 7/10 times I’ve spoken to it. With that said, if we talk about the sound is while playing music, it sounds decent. Clear highs, okay mids & just enough bass to meet my expectations for a speaker this size. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to take a step forward into the “smart home” and “smart home accessories” world. For the price, it can’t be beat.

For the price, this device is an amazing smart speaker and far better than any Amazon Alexa device. The google assistant is great and this device has great sound quality.

I have a few of these setup throughout the house so my wife can manipulate the smart home features without putting the baby down. It really helps to ask Google to turn on the lights in certain areas of the house at night so you don't have to fumble with switches. It tells me the weather, sets my alarms and notifies me about traffic. It knows the difference between my voice and my wife's voice so we can access our personal media accounts easily. Highly recommend if you seem to always have your hands full or if you simply just want to use your voice to get information or connect to your smart home.
