I can use it adjust the volume and turn the tv on and off. I can even start my car with it. The speaker quality is decent too!

Nice to have the key hole on the back - we hung ours on the wall above the AC outlet. Great value on sale for $30.

Especially if you dont want to spend the $100+ on the full size assistants. I had the original mini and this blows it out of the water. I would give it 5 stars but it has a little trouble hearing me vs the larger assistants

Links to all my smart devices as well as my hubs, such as Insteon, Logitech (harmony), etc. Actually does a better job than Amazon Alexa. My house is a smart house and we use echo dots in each room. We have now two google speakers in the mix as well. Overall, Google works better with Insteon and Logitech hubs. Google's database is better in answering questions over Alexa. Alexa has its strong points such as: works with Amazon Prime Music and has guarding feature, which detects broken glass or smoke detector going off when you are not home.

He’s not very techie but likes to listen to music while he works. Now, all he has to do is tell Google to play music and voila!
