I went with Google simply because I have a large number of Nest products and everything works great! iOS app functions fine and easy to use, can connect my phone and listen to my music, etc. with ease. Other products I have purchased to sync to my Google assistant work very well. It supports a large number of brands and I have not had any issues connecting them. I am sure Alexa and others offer the same connectivity but as mentioned, my decision was purely for my Nest products and I have zero regrets.

It’s always says there was a glitch try again in a few seconds or something went wrong try again in a few seconds. Also playing night sounds all night instead of turning off after a while. Sometimes not turning lights on or off. Will look into Apple devices or Amazon echo more as I still have the first generation with zero issues

Resetting may help improve your experience with the glitchy issue for your Nest Mini. Keep in mind that this will erase all data and that you may need to set it up again. To reset, check on the side of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Mini, where the lights are on top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.

She loves it. Its very easy to use, has lots of features and can work and connect with lots of items. This device is very helpful.
