Sits on night stand to use for setting alarm, Turning off lights and asking for weather reports. I love the convenience of this little machine.

Better than the older Google Mini. Even hold up in the bathroom!

Works pretty well. Sometimes it could/should hear me better and would be nice for it to have a nighttime mode where it whispers if I’m whispering or quiet.

I purchased the Google Nest Mini II because I heard it Sounded better than the Original. It does sound much better when playing Music; than the Original Google Mini.

I got this to compare to Alexa, and after several months I have to say I find Alexa to be more user friendly. Example, the wife likes to sleep with music playing, so she's got this playlist she built on Youtube, we try to get the Google Nest to play it and it's like pulling teeth. Imagine you say "OK Google, play George Straight, all my Ex's live in Texas" and the Nest replies "OK Playing "Die M-Fer Die, by Willie D of the Geto Boyz"... or vice versa. That's the kind of matching we get, Ask for it to play something and you have to be like "Play X song, By X artist, from X album, released X day, on Youtube/or whatever music service" any less specific and the Nest just seems to be like "Hey man that's great and All, but I'm going to play what I want to listen to, buckle up!.

The sound comes out amazing. It's a great speaker for any room. The sound quality is similar to the Google Home Max.

Nice to be able to control lights and set timers from another location. Can also play music and ask the usual "Hey Google" questions. Still learning all the uses!
