Hi Cycle, thanks for sharing your insights. We're sorry to hear about your disappointment with the Wi-Fi speed you are experiencing with Nest Wifi. Your Nest Wifi Router can support up to 2 x 867Mbps on 5GHz thanks to its 4x4 radio, while 2.4GHz can go up to 433Mbps. Please keep in mind that Wi-Fi speed you receive on your connected devices generally depends on your network plan and reception on your modem. If you feel that your current Wi-Fi speeds are not related to the points we highlighted, we recommend contacting our support team for further troubleshooting and isolation of the issue here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest

I have been receiving notifications several times a day that this unit has gone offline. I did a full factory reset. I removed it from the Google Home app. I chatted with Google customer service for an hour. Still getting notified it’s offline. Terrible support. Unreliable product. I tried to return it to Best Buy, but it’s been 2 months, so I kinda have to eat the cost on this. I’m not happy about the situation.

Hi Edmond, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear that your Nest Wifi and support experience has been a letdown. Your Nest Wifi uses DHCP, a common internet connection protocol. Check with your internet service provider if they don't support DHCP but require a different protocol like PPPoE or use Static IPs, to make the necessary changes.

Even though you may have already contacted our support team, we'd like to take another look at your Nest Wifi device and help you with the issue to improve your experience. Please feel free to reach out to us again at Nest Wifi Help page: https://support.google.com/wifi/gethelp Nest

Hi there, thanks for posting a review. We regret to hear that you’re getting a weak connection from your Nest Wifi.

The Nest Wifi router can cover up to 2200 square feet. However, Wi-Fi signal coverage may be affected by different factors and we recommend trying out some tips below to help isolate the issue:
      - As a general rule, points work best when they’re no more than two rooms away from each other. For example, if the far end of your house has weak Wi-Fi, don’t put a Wifi point in that exact spot. Instead, put it part way in that direction. Try to place it in an elevated position like on a shelf.
      - Building materials and other objects located between your Nest Wifi Points and mobile devices may slow your connection. If possible, try to use your device within a clear line of sight to your primary and secondary Points.
      - There could be signal interference due to traffic on your Wi-Fi network, on your neighbors' Wi-Fi networks, or from other sources like microwaves or baby monitors.

If you'd like us to take a look at the issue, feel free to contact our support team so we can help you further. You can visit our help page using this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp Nest
