Looks like the wifi connection has improved so far compared to my previous router but once in a while I'm still seeing poor connection for one device which is very close to the wifi point. Not sure why one device connection is different!

Had wifi problems with what Xfinity offered. So we bought this and it fixed our wifi issue as an extension. Also very convenient that it is a google assistant.

This speaker group is excellent and loud. Has great clarity, it works with Google Hub. Plays music from your phone, Spotify, etc.

My small apartment had narrow halls and mirrors blocking signal to our room. Now we are better than ever no more blackspots.

The mesh network has doubled my WiFi stream and has blanketed my entire home. The AP also has Google Assistant installed with mic and speaker so works like the Nest Mini.

What an improvement these made to my wifi! My previous wifi router was not getting the job done. I was getting about 1/10th of the wifi speed I'm paying for. With the Google Nest Wifi Mesh system, I'm getting faster wifi than I'm paying for. I went from 10 Mbps to 115 Mbps and it's amazing. My smart TV would buffer and sometimes stop the stream on shows and movies, my laptop was frustrating to load pages or just emails. Not anymore. The photo attached is a speed test done on my wifi connected laptop which is as fast as the direct ethernet connection my son gets on his gaming desktop. Our cell phones, the PS4 and TV all show getting the same speeds on wifi. The router took a little bit to set up, the point was effortless. I bought a network switch to use with it as I have hubs for smart lights and cameras and the router has only one ethernet port other than the one that connects to the modem. It did take quite some time to get everything connected back up to the wifi but it was well worth it to get the speed. The router will detect the best way to connect. My smart lights connect via 2.4 only and there is no way to manually set it, but it was not a problem as it detected it automatically. I did have to unlink everything that was not Google, and relink them to get them connected. I've had no more buffering or getting kicked out of streaming. The Google Assistant Speaker works the same as the Google minis I have around the house, with better sound quality. I would recommend this system to anyone wanting to improve their wifi speeds.

I am very dissatisfied with them. I get full speeds on the router but very slow speeds on the pods. The pods also disconnect all the time it will say good connection then weak and lose internet. Its literally 25" away. It says to move it closer but then it would be in the same room

Awful. Constantly goes down. Needs to be restarted almost daily. I’m thinking we got a defective unit.

Google has removed all the ports for the extra 2/3 nodes. Last model allowed you to plug a cable in and run a switch for hardware that needs to be hardwired into a hub. This is a huge disappointment as it was not listed anywhere and not clearly available that these do not have any ports. The old models do have ports! Shame

Set up was a snap. Plugged in opened Google Home, added product, scanned QR code, and it was up and running. WiFi was maxed out at my LAN speed which was 50/50 up and down. Range even penetrated to my 2nd floor with ease. Google commands were easy to use and to link to my other devices. Nice white color. Sleek and subtle. I would highly recommend this product.

For example, the Nest Wi-Fi points can be used as smart speakers. This means that I can use them to control my smart home devices with Google Assistant. I can also use the Nest Wi-Fi app to see who's connected to my network, test my internet speed, and set up guest Wi-Fi networks. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the Nest WiFi mesh router system. It's the best mesh router system I've ever used, and it's perfect for my smart home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, reliable, and easy-to-use mesh router system.

I purchased this WiFi mesh set because of the constant failure of my ISP’s WiFi to maintain a consistent speed and connection throughout my house. Google’s system has solved every issue I had with the old WiFi. No loss of signal, no dead spots in the far corners of the house, and best of all...when there is a lot of company staying at the house, I can use the app to prioritize my devices so they don’t slow down too much (a feature I wasn’t even aware of when I bought it). I have since learned you can even create another SSID for your kids and then set a time for it to go off, thereby preventing your kids from sneaking around and using their devices in the middle of the night to play games or watch YouTube. And because I have fiber internet, I didn’t even need a modem. I just plugged the Google Nest right into the network and, BOOM, instant internet. It really is a set it and forget it type system. The only people for whom I wouldn’t recommend this product are those that are more advanced in networking and would like the ability to take a deeper dive into the setting of their home WiFi network. This is more a system for those who want to set it up once, and then forget about it...and it accomplishes that goal beautifully!

I have Xfinity Internet at 1200 Mbps. Obviously those speeds can never be achieved in reality. The average is 800-900 Mbps on wifi. Which is excellent. Originally I tried using the "pods" directly from Comcast, but they were a dismal failure. I decided to try the Google nest mesh system instead. This is an excellent product, very easy to use, good coverage of a 3000 sq home, I bought another wifi point, and speeds are more than enough for anything, including online gaming. I can't comment on long term reliability, but so far no complaints.

I've been using the Google Nest WiFi system purchased from Best Buy for several months now, and overall, I am very satisfied with its performance. The setup was straightforward, and the coverage throughout my home is excellent. The speed and reliability of the connection have significantly improved compared to my previous router. However, there are a couple of minor issues worth mentioning. During power outages, the system sometimes doesn't reconnect automatically, requiring a manual restart. Additionally, one of the access points occasionally needs to be restarted to maintain a stable connection. Despite these small inconveniences, the Google Nest WiFi system is a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home network. The user-friendly interface, combined with the strong and consistent coverage, makes it a great investment. I highly recommend it, with just a bit of patience for the occasional restart.

As a longtime owner of the previous generation Google WIFI, I’m definitely impressed with this surprising update. Setup was a breeze and the results speak for themselves. The previously required Google WIFI app still has a place when needing advanced routing features like reservations, port forwarding, etc... However, it’s no longer a requirement. You can see critical information, manage family WIFI settings, see devices and retrieve passwords from within the Google Home app, along with all your other google smart home integrated products. With the 2 unit kit, one router and one access point, I was able to cover my entire home without issue. The documentation claims that 2 units can handle up to 3800 square feet – so no surprise my 2000 + backyard was no issue. Placement is key, so make sure take consideration when setting them up. The icing on the cake, at least for me, is that the access points are also Google Home Minis. What a great extra little feature for people like myself who have one in every room. I was able to place the access point in the back of the house and finally finish my full house audio setup.
