So far so good. I'm partly impressed because my old router was dying and only letting out 3mbps of the 455 it was receiving from the modem. Incredibly frustrating. I'm good with tech, but even so, these things were cake to setup with the Google home app (we're Alexa people here and it was my first time using Google home). The mesh system works great-single wifi for everything and devices automatically connect between 2.4 and 5ghz networks. Don't know what that means? Even better, this device automatically finds the best way to connect you. Great system, highly recommended. Speeds are through the roof now. But it won't speed up your internet if the modem isn't getting a fast signal to begin with, so best to test that first! Just a PSA to folks.

    Stable and good signal strength

I bought this because our Airport didn't do a good job serving WIFI for our two-story home (connection keeps dropping and is worse inside bedrooms). Setup was easy with the Google Home app. Now, WIFI signal strength is way better, consistent and most importantly stable. You will notice a few Mbps (about 1% ) loss when you're connected from a remote access point. With these devices, our whole house is now covered with good reliable connection to the internet. I picked this one among several others because it looks good and is backed by Google (software and security updates plus reliability are important). I don't need an overkill on specs as my cable internet never goes beyond 110Mbps (why buy something greater than AC2200 when I connect with a relatively slow internet gateway).

Great range, each one is wireless-except for the main router which is connected to the modem. The others, also perform as speaker/google voice assistant. Easy set up, scan device and it integrates into your google home account/Wi-Fi network.

Most Reliable WiFi System I've Found

I've spent a bundle on WiFi routers, both for home and office. My last router was a multi-band system that cost over $300 on sale. I had continuous problems with the WiFi just dropping, sometimes for hours at a time, unless it was manually reset (unplugged), sometimes repeatedly. I tried Google's Nest WiFi after a friend recommended it. The setup was simple and was done in minutes. I've had NO trouble with the WiFi dropping, and the transition between areas of my house is seamless. I have one point on each floor of our house, and I get 3 bars everywhere I stand in our house, which is about 4000 sq. ft. I have internet service with Charter/Spectrum, and through the WiFi I'm topping over 220 mbps, which is above the 200 I'm paying for. I've since implemented the same system at my business with no problems. Highly recommended.

I had the eeros system, I love that system but had one flaw the the router kept dying on me. Lucky for me i didn't own the system. My ISP own all the equipment so after the 3 router died i finally had enough. I started to look up many reviews on this google nest system that everyone seem to really love. I will have to agree i love the system. I haven't had any issues with it (yet). The fact you get two wifi signal buster that are also google speaker make it nice. The router itself is simple no million ports on it just two of them. Now for gamers that can be downfall so you might want to by a mini switch so you can have extra ports. The setup is simple just download the app and follow the instructions. I will say for the price it little high but with everything you can add to it, i can say it worth it

We have a fairly large home and have always have WiFi drop out when working from home. Tried several extenders with no joy. This mesh system is amazing. It provides strong signal throughout with no deterioration of speeds.

I was hesitant to buy this mesh system while sitting in the car in the parking lot, walking into store, and walking the isles just to avoid any regrets. I went from a netgear nighthawk x6 to an Asus 5300 to an UniFi USG with 2 access points and 2 Poe switches. I even tried the mesh network with Asus. That was no good. Wasted money. I was hoping to maximize my 1GB internet speed. For some reason though, even with bypassing the modem, I could still not get over 200-300mb on a good day for speed tests. So my goal was to buy another ubiquity product to replace my prosumer setup and increase my speed. I have about 20+ devices so I figured ubiquity would handle my network the best. So I spent a few days researching and knowing I wasn’t getting the Google Nest WiFi because... just no. After my research I looked at the Orbi, the new Asus Line, and anything with mesh network connectivity. I was looking for that gotcha in each product line. After a few speed test videos, most said the Google Nest WiFi is what I needed since I don’t have devices with WiFi 6. So I made the purchase reluctantly but I am super glad. The speed and coverage is just what I need. Each and every device I tested gets great speeds and coverage (4200+ sq home). The speakers on the WiFi points are an added bonus. The music sounds surprisingly great. I have a switch connected to the router to give me additional wired devices. I even put my phone on airplane mode to test the coverage while cutting the grass. Even up to 20+ ft away through walls from the nearest access point, the coverage and speeds were excellent. I have to say, this has been the best wireless router system I have had in over 10 years. Best decision ever made when I told myself don’t buy it.

We set these up but it took over an hour to figure out. We've had them for over a year. They worked great at first but we're going to buy one more dot because we think it will solve our outdoor TV streaming situation. Currently it works 80% of the time without an issue and we have a dot outside next to the TV so we think putting another dot in the kitchen will help the connection. My modem is in the closet in my master bedroom, I placed a dot in the garage where my office is, and another dot in the living room and out in my patio. I need one more in the kitchen (i think) to make them all connect smoothly. My house is small (1800 SqFt) so I'm not sure if it's the old 1950's walls or why 3 dots are not enough.

Using the new Google Nest WiFi vs the Google WiFi, I get better connection in the room furthest away from the modem than before. It does really extend the WiFi connection distance. Like it's predecessor, it's easy to set up. However, only the Nest WiFi Router has the ethernet port. Why can't Google place one on the secondary Nest Point. The previous Google WiFi device points all have an ethernet port. Apparently I didn't read it correctly before buying, but only the Nest WiFi Point has the Google Home feature. Overall, it's a great easy to setup device to provide consistent WiFi to all the devices throughout the house. 1850 sq ft home with 2 Nest WiFi is sufficient. I used the other 2 Google WiFi as extras connecting to the TVs via ethernet in the rooms.

First of all thanks to att for 1gb speed in my area, after upgrade i was very disappointed with 100 mbps, tried several diffrent ways to improve the speed on wireless network, att said its hard not to have any loss in speed and i will get max of 300 mbps on wireless and lil bit more on wired network, spoke with technical department and they advised me to get a third party router that's when i discovered mesh router, it was obvious for me to go with google after seeing several hundred perfect reviews, was easy to set up and guess what no buffering no dropping of signals and speed is over 500 mbps. very very happy with this product, if you have large home with more than 20 devices who eats all your data speed, go with this life saving router.

My first version of the Google Mesh had intermittent outages. This replacement was easy to install with my AT&T modem/router. I have had no interference issues even though I left the AT&T device settings as is from the prior AT&T service call. The WiFi signal has been steady, fast and even throughout the house and back patio. Would have liked one of the modules to have an Ethernet connection. That would have come in handy for me. I found a work-around.

This system provides great coverage and speed and is very easy to set up. By all estimates I needed 3 points, but the router and 1 point covered everywhere I wanted and maintained a fast connection. It was very easy to set up, but when I did have a question the support staff was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. After attempting to deal with my previous vendor this was a huge relief! It doesn't let you dig down in to all the minutia to adjust every single aspect of networking, but I didn't need that level of detail. I just wanted something secure that I could manage quickly and this provides just that. Highly recommend.

All the reviews are right. This is a slick system that is easy to set up. The range is amazing. I live in an all masonry house. The coverage is still great. Even the yard is covered. The only downside is that only the point is an assistant. The router does not have a speaker. I was expecting them both to be assistants. Set up and maintenance is easy via the Google Home app. I used to buy tech on specs alone. But I have switched to buying for reliability, usability, and a bit of style. This has all three. There are probably better spec'd systems out there, but this one is beautiful and beautifully simple. But it already!

Decided to purchase this based on reviews I read and couldn't be more happy with it's performance. Before this I had a Netgear Router and Modem combo unit and wasn't getting the speed I was paying for. I have Spectrum and since my wife and the kids were going to be home everyday each working on their own device for work and school we needed the speed to be there. I have a duplex property and to save money we canceled the internet service for the back house and connected the Google Nest. It has provided us with fast and reliable WiFi all through out our property. It was super easy to set up.

Set-up was a breeze. Download the Google Home app before disconnecting your existing wifi – you'll need this for the set-up. It will walk you through the steps, which are very simple and straightforward. The whole process took me about 20 minutes. My place is almost 3000 sq. ft, works perfectly , no glitches. Tons of devices connected, no bandwidth problems whatsoever You'll be surpsised to see the internet speeds you'd get before & after installing this product, you'd see the difference. Bonus points for the sexy looks of the unit.It looks modern, sleek :)

Let me start by saying I always buy the wrong thing. This was the exception. We pay for a gig of speed. With our nighthawk, I would get between 100-300. With our google mesh, we get between 400-700. That alone is worth the purchase. But the setup also took just a few minutes and was super easy. One WiFi point is near the back of the house, so it provides coverage to the entire backyard. No issues running multiple devices at once. The points are also aesthetically pleasing in all white. Versus black with scary antennas pointing at us. Best buy of my life- pun intended.

Easy to setup, use and maintain. These things just work! I've used these in a lot of applications and they are essentially maintenance free. If the power goes off or there is an internet outage, they will reconnect themselves. The coverage is pretty impressive in a mult-story house and the signal even spills outside quite a ways so you can connect things like exterior cameras to the network. The only thing I don't like about them is that there is no ethernet port like on the previous versions.
