Great prodcut to have in your home if you ar eplaning to go keyless. No moer Losing the keys simply create a pincode and thats it. You can evem create temporary ones and still be able to open the door from your phone. Recommend it

Instulation was simple as you would expect and its handy to be able to unlock the door on the way from the grocery when your hands are full. Just make sure you get the correct ecosystem since it is one or the other.

I use this to check when housekeepers, dog walkers, etc come and go (via Nest app). With each of them having a unique access code, it is easy to who has been in the house. I also give temporary codes to folks visiting - much easier than giving multiple keys out and keep track. I also never feel like I have to change the locks - I can simply change the codes!

Bought this as a gift for my husband. Easy install and setup. Great integration with the app.

Does everything I wanted it to do . Unlocks from phone app or keypad easily. Looks great on my door.

This is photo sensitive door lock. If covered up, the key osd diesn’t word. But within a few seconds after it us uncovered, it operates again. A multiple combination of security numbers can be added For guests or family or apartment manager for emergency. Well made door lock that you won’t need a house key but all you need is press the security code on the key pad.

Very easy to install lock that is part of the Nest ecosystem. I had a zwave lock originally using a Wink, but sporadic notifications of lock and unlock made me move to the Nest because I already have the doorbell and other cameras. Having them all in one app makes it easier to manage and I can unlock from the same app. Having the door automatically lock when I am away via geofencing is also a piece of mind.

I have wanted a connected lock for quite some time but wanted to wait for one from Nest since their products are great and I’m already heavily bought into their ecosystem. With four kids coming and going, this provides a great way for them to get in without having to keep track of keys. I can control the lock remotely, add temporary codes for visitors, and other features, all from my Nest app. The lock was easy to install as well.

i bout this keypad smart lock for two reasons, 1. i hate keys, 2. i have a big family and instead of making multiple keys i can grant and remove access on a needed basis. It also shows when and who used access so its easier to identify if something goes wrong. Also great if you turn into a rental/ air bnb

Lock is a good idea. Installation is a hassle. It has to be perfectly aligned to operate. Any insulation etc on the door can result in slight misalignmnet and the lock will get stuck. I replaced part of insulation with a outside insulation tape. Nkw it misaligns on the other direction. Tricky.

Love this lock! It is so easy to use and much more modern looking than a traditional lock!

I’ve only had the Nest X Yale Smart Lock for a few days, but so far, no issues. Struggled during installation, but only because I had to make alterations to the deadbolt hole in the doorframe to lower the plate. Make sure to take measurements from the threshold up to the jam as well as bottom of deadbolt to ensure compatibility. Setup is a breeze, and so far, has worked like a charm. Would recommend!

This lock was an upgrade from a Kwikset smart lock. Installation was really easy and took no more than 20 min. I purchased it to have more control over access to the home. I like being able to assign multiple access codes with varying access restrictions. Get alerts when door is locked/unlocked and by who. If you already have nest products and use the nest app, it is easy to add the lock to your setup.

I had to do a little shaving of my door hole to get it installed. But once that headache was over. It works excellently. For the auto close I wish it could have detected if the door was open so it wouldn’t try to lock an open door. That would have added a bit more intelligence. Then it could have also notified me that the door is open. But that’s just a wishlist. It is a very good product.

If you are replacing an existing deadbolt this is easy to install. A few screws and a little time and you are done. As far as the features, it felt great having the ability to auto lock my door and see when it was locked/unlocked. I did end up returning this lock because I found a smart lock that suits my needs better. Had I not found the other lock I would definitely have kept this one.

I have been using this for a couple of years. Very good product, easy to setup and use. recommend it with no reservations.
