I was reluctant to but this because of the cost and possibly having constant issues, but i have to say i couldn't be happier with getting it. It works flawlessly and looks nicer then any of the other products on the market.

So easy to use! We can set different codes if we have people visiting too, which is a perk!

Husband who is handy changed the lock. He thought it was very straightforward. We love that we don't have to have keys in our hand when we come and go. Easy to open and lock coming and going. Plus can open and lock remotely for a family member when necessary.

Quite easy to install - not much different from replacing a standard deadbolt. I love being able to check if my door is locked when I'm away from home or asking google to unlock my door.

after researching the web for smart lock I decided to go for this Yale. I am so glad i choose this on instead august, this is the best no complaints so far and i have had it for almost 3 month. The only thing I see is that won't unlock the door if you are close.

The lock is great. Easy to use and connect to my nest termostat. The connector was wasy to install as well. The only issue I had was installation. Its not as easy as it looks, even with the instructions. Also the nest app needs some serious update. Compared to the competition, the nest app is lacking a lot if things.

This is a peace of mind type of purchase. I can always know my front door is locked, let guests in and out without trusting them with keys, and lock the door if someone forgets - all remotely through the Nest App. It has worked well and has been able to accomplish all of these tasks. It has automatic lock functionality as well whether through a timer or proximity from your phone when you leave the house. It keeps a record of who locked the door last. It has a privacy mode if you don't want people entering the house for, well, use your imagination. The minus one star is because it has false negatives where if the bolt is in any way impeded from it's normal place, it will say the door isn't locked. This has not been true because the door is still technically locked - to resolve this I have to make sure the door is firmly closed before locking the bolt.

This was a gift for our freinds wedding. They love it! Haven't heard any complaints. They are very serious about home security and it wouldn't use it if they didnt believe it was a quality product. I'll be purchasing one for myself as well.

I love how well this works. Its nice to look at your phone and see the door was locked and is locked. The keypad looks nice and has worked very well, even through a cold winter.

easy to install and works beautifully with the nest app. I originally bought the cheaper version with the August app thinking no difference and i was completely wrong. totally worth the extra money, so glad i returned the august and went this route.

We've been enjoying this smart lock. It works well on its own (we don't miss not having a key, since you can add power with a 9-volt from outside if the other battery fails) and even better with the rest of our Google Nest and Amazon equipment.

Purchased this product about 2 years ago. Initial set up was pretty easy. I did have an issue with the app where my lock would unlock by itself several times throughout the day so I had to uninstall the app. After that, it worked fine but I was not able to unlock from my phone due to no longer having the app. Here we are as mentioned about 2 years later and the lock is started to malfunction. It drains batteries in about a day. I already reset the device and it is stillnnot working. I would not recommend this product due to the life span which came out to be abput 2 years.

Lock istallation was easy to follow. Nest brings up a video that you can watch step by step. Syncing with the app and connect were a little tedious but great once it got going. Love the features and how my phone or Google Home locks the door at night with a routine.

Works just as you would expect. Really like that I can access my nest doorbell and operate the lock in the nest app or with my google assistant. Easy to install. Easy to set up code and add additional codes for friends/family.

This is a great product and works very well with nest. Couldn't be happier. I have been using this for about 2 months now and there have been no malfunction. Be careful with instillation if you are installing yourself and make you line up the the bolt with the receiver.

Love the auto lock feature and the WiFi access, as well as each person having individual codes.

Awesome Awesome deadbolt lock. I dont know why it took me so long to switch. Fantastic to have. Flawless operation. This is my 3rd and they all still work great for many years now.

Never put a new door lock in, but was able to get this done with videos on you tube. So far so good. Batteries lasted until now, so up to you if that is a good enough time. 4 AA batteries. Color is holding in in the sun. App works well with Nest if you want to unlock from you phone. Can unlock door for someone even when you are not home. Can give them a code which only works during certain times and more. Say you know you are carrying a lot of items, you can unlock door before getting of the car. This has been really useful to my family. If your not into tech, you can still get good use out of the item. Set up 2 step verification to prevent issues. Much easier than pulling out keys every time. I have the Nest Doorbell and this item and they work well within Nest app.

Simple installation. Quality lock however was unable to connect it to my nest account.

I'm very happy with my nest x yale lock. easy to operate. easy to install and easy to maintain. so far it has been a about 1 month since I installed in my front door and the batteries still good. I don't need any keys anymore.
