I think the echo is a great device when you want to listen to music and use all the great apps the the echo has but...I think the google home is smarter when you need questions answered. Even you make mistakes in your question it can somehow get it answered. Only downsides are that it doesn't have bluetooth so it does need a network connection to play music from phone ans it not that loud.

Useful if your giving this as a gift (bc you don't want the reciever to use the funds for anything besides Netflix) or to pay your own subscription. Typically the only time I get prepaid cards is when there's a promo, & at the time it was this $60 card + $10 a bestbuy gift card. & by locking in $60 to use on Netflix, it would give some motivation to finally watch those exclusive series.
