I had an 8 port netgear router that works great but I needed 9 ports due to a recent computer additon. This router works great no problems. Only negative I can think of was the instructions page was so huge. It seriously opened up to a 5x5 foot piece of paper. However only a tiny square of that was in English.

Straightforward hub. Just plug it in and you are ready to go. Had an older version of this same product and it lasted for decades. Hope the same goes for this newer version.

This 16-port Netgear Switchbox is how all switchboxes should be made: good quality, long-lasting, and great performer. I'm very pleased with the easy set-up process, and the total performance from the device. A++ all around. Keep this one on the shelves at Best Buy.

Excellent solution for organizing and keeping up the speed of all the ethernet cables I have coming from all over my house. I am using 11 of the 16 ports and may need it for a couple more. Takes over for the 3 four port switches I was using.

I had to get more extention adapters for my businesses computers, registers and printers. Install was 1 2 3 easy no brainer. I've never incurred any problem using any of NetGear products. Top of the line in its line of performance. Don't settle for less go the best NetGear!!!!

I was considering getting a plastic one with less ports, but this one is so great, it is metal and it has so many ports. I was worried it would be too big, but it was actually quite small, which is a good thing. The support is lifetime, which can't be beaten.

Perfect upgrade to our office network

I bought this to upgrade our network at work. We went from three old 10/100 linksys switches to this single Netgear switch with Gigabit speeds. Works as it should, and keeps our data flowing smootlhy. I don't have to think about it very much, and that's a definite plus.

We recently moved and needed a switch with enough ports to serve our house and fit in the junction box. This switch definitely for the bill. Low profile and low maintenance. We never see any download speed issues. Even when all of our wired devices are all active.

These Netgear Ethernet switches tend to last a very long time, except for an occasional power supply failure. In this case broadband speed was increased to GB fiber and it was time to upgrade the switch.

I kept buying these dumb 4 port switches and having all kinds of boxes sitting around by the router and modem and they had issues. This was a great price and now I have a switch that will allow me to plug in everything in a compact switch box.

I bought 2 of these GigaByte Switches to replace a number of smaller/older switches on our network. The speed and reliability of network connection was noticeably improved. A nightly backup was reduced from 3 hours to 45 minutes. Easy to install with no real setup.

Netgear switches in my experience have been reliable. And easy to setup. I’ve owned managed switches, but this GS116NA was recommended as compatible with Eero Pro 6.

I purchased the switch as a replacement, the last one failed do to a power outage. The switch wasn’t surge protected, if you have multiple devices to network, this is the switch you should purchase, make sure you surge protect your devices also. The switch is fairly priced also. The switch is a simple plug & play.

Bought it on sale like I do most things. Wanted to add a switch with lots of room as the two 4 ports were clogging up fast. So happened by this and grabbed it. Netgear switches have never let me down and so far this one is staying true to form.

Solid option if you’re looking for a lot of Ethernet ports. Everything in my place is hardwired and this offered enough connections, leaving me plenty to spare.
