It just works!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The switch is easy to install. No setup required. It was better to have more ports than necessary than it is to have to go buy an additional switch later on.

Works better than previous switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have large house that was previously used for commercial and have been converting the existing cat5 based PBX wiring into ethernet. I was using a netgear 8 port switch but there were stability issues (suspect wiring) but as I finished replacing jacks 9 and 10, I upgraded to the 16port switch. The whole network is more stable now and even through its old cat 5 ( not even cat5e ) I'm getting the full 1000Mbps on most ports...even on connections with more than 200ft of cable. With 400Mbps internet, a gigbit is needed to take advantage of it.
