This was bought to replace a similar model that had a noisy fan. I was surprised that this unit didn't have a fan at all, which is good for my setup. The switch works fine and requires no configuration (unmanaged).

This Netgear Switch is a great price for what it offers. 24 Ports of 10/100/1000 This is a GB Connection on most modern computers. Un Managed, just plug it in and connect it to your router or another switch and thats all! Simple & easy.

No problems installing. Netgear makes it almost automatic. Very happy with the speed and i have used similar models in the past (installing them at various cuatomers) and I almost never have a problem with these.

Set up a few servers, workstations, and PIs on this and it's just worked. As a LAN hardware amateur I can't speak much about its specs. But, as an amateur I can say that it's simple.

I bought the 24 port Netgear Switch for our small business office. The cost was reasonable, and I personally like the Netgear Brand. The devices are reliable, and last for years.
