Basically plug & play.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ready to go out of the box. Simply replace existing modem - same cables/connectors. I have Xfinity & was replacing a 5-year old self-owned model. So the only other necessary step after plugging it in was to activate it under my Xfinity account. That's where I ran into a problem and had to call Comcast because their self-activation process failed. It didn't take long, luckily. Working just fine since (2 months to date).

Great modem on Spectrum

I currently have the Spectrum 100mb service and am consistently getting speed tests that are roughly 120 down/12 up on wired connection and pulling 113 down/9 up on wi-fi. Curious to see where I’m at once Spectrum releases the new 200mb minimums.
