Owning your personal modem is the best thing ever. No more paying rental fees ever. also its compatible with numerous cable providers so you are not stuck with one company if you move out of state or city.

I bought this due to the fact I do not want to give COX Internet any more money then necessary. This modem turned out to be a real goo always steady on line, MODEM. High performance with no drop in signal or speed.

When coupled with the router this modem is super fast and delivers both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz together without the need to toggle between speeds. My only regret is not upgrading sooner and the long suffering use of my old modem

I bought this to replace my Comcast equipment. Hooked it up in less than a 1/2 hour and it set up easily with Google mesh WIFI. Saving $11 a month and have better internet connection and speeds.

We went from our cable company to the store to purchase a new modem to replace the cable company's modem. This was recommended to us by the cable tech and the sales person at the store. We had minor issues getting it to work with our Mac, but we are new Mac users so the problem was probably me! Overall, a good experience for plug and play.

The modern was pretty good except for getting kick off every now and then. I’m not sure if it’s the router or the modem.

Made the switch to suddenlink for faster internet speeds and bought this modem to avoid renting one. Setup was fast and easy. Hooked up to my ubiquiti USG and access points with no issues.

My old modem was dropping out every once a while. Ever since I replaced my old modem with this one, it has been great. No internet service drop out since the first day I connected this unit online. Love it so far.

very easy to install, literally just plug it to cable (from cable company). Make sure you have handy and able to read all the small numbers (serial/mac/etc). Keep the box, that's where all the numbers are and easier to read from. Be ready to spend about 15-20 minutes with cable company for set-up.

Works as great as the device I was renting each month from the cable company. I use this, a TiVo Bolt and a reduced cable package and cut my bill by 60% and increased my satisfaction by 100%.

I already had a NetGear router when my old (cable company owned) modem failed. I turned it in (saves $ every month forever) and picked up this cable modem from Best buy. Easy installation and it works great.

The Netgear - Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem is much better than the unit offered by Comcast. The Docsis 3.0 specifications are important to achieving the higher speeds promised by Comcast. This is a solid product.

After I don't know how long of paying $10 + month for renting from internet provider i finally purchased my own. I have had 0 problems with it so far and it's no different than the other one. Good buy

I recently upgraded to this modem from the one I bought from Cox. This modem is 1000 times better than what you buy from Cox and the price is really worth it. If you don't believe me then try it for yourself.

Bought this due to a recommendation I got from a friend and it is great! Have had it a little while now and no issues at all. A world of a difference compared to crappy Comcast equipment.
