    I had to get the Docsis 3.0 modem since I was using a modem that was termed as End of Life Device. As soon as I installed this modem, I saw the difference in results when I did the speed test.This yielded the expected results.

    I don't know exactly how much but the internet speed in my home is now outstanding. No more buffering on any device, tv, phones, mutiple laptops running all at the same time. Great modem. It is rare for me to give 5 stars.

    This modem was purchased to increase the speed that I got from my ISP. It has allowed me to come closer to my max speed on a regular basis. It has given me more of a value than the modem router come that I was using.
