Awesome Modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ever since we bought this we have had no issues with our internet bottle necking or needing to power cycle it. It really is a set it and forget it device. For those who are not so tech savvy, the only way to get the most out of this device is to be sure that the router you have at home has gigabit ports. In order to find that out, look up the specs on your router and under the ports section it should say Gigabit or 10/100/1000.

Don't buy CM700 over this

Fast and transparent modem

Work well but generate heat

My old modem/router deteriorated over 1 year period Because it overheat. So I put a small USB fan next to it to keep it cool.
