My cable company originally told me that the cm400 would handle the higher speeds that I was paying for before the higher speeds were available. This was not true! Review your providers recommended modems and then purchase your modem accordingly. I hated paying the rental fees. So far I have not encountered any issues

We installed it and within minutes no lagging/buffering on any of our devices that use wifi and our thermostat hasn't been disconnected once! We have heat amd streaming video and couldn't be happier
