I bought this modem so I didn't have to rent one from Comcast. The 24x8 channels are great for fast wifi for a lot of devices and great upload speeds.

This cable modem will handle any wifi router out there and has a good price for it. Until the cable Companies start sending out in 1 gb you can't beat it.

My area is going all digital which means TWC MAXX isn't too far off. This gives me room to grow beyond the new MAXX speeds. Will easily pay for itself before it becomes obsolete.

Previous modem we had was so old and would not connect with the signal. Upgraded and now we have no problems with wifi.

I have had several Netgear modems and routers. All have provided superior service and this new one is no exception. Happy with modem and price.

Bought to replace a SB6190 modem that had latency problems. The Netgear modem works much better and has had no problems. Would recommend to anyone wanting a new modem.

I got this because it was supposed to be compatible with Comcast/Xfinity. It did work well for about a month, then it didn't. So I purchased another one because I couldn't return the original one. That one didn't work at all out of the box and I couldn't set it up with the Comcast guy at my house. So I had to go back to using/renting one of theirs which is what I was trying to avoid by buying it in the first place. I think Best Buy and Comcast need to get together and figure this out...This is not to say it wouldn't work with other IP's. Like I said, it worked great at first.

Does what it says. I've been using this modem for nearly 2 years of constant uptime and its still going strong.

All you need to add is a router if you want wireless internet access. This set up works best for this type of modem and keeps costs low

My old modem wasn't compatible with xfinity's network so they held my computer hostage until I updated it. Thanks to bestbuy I'm up and running. Hate xfinity!

Works great for TWC Ultimate 100. Use mine with Nighthawk router and I'm well pleased!

I got this by recommendation of a Best Buy employee, so glad I don't have to rent it from the cable company anymore.

The Netgear modem was a great buy. It replaced an outdated modem. Technology seems to require a new modem every few years. Priced right and works fine.

I bought this along with a new router to replace my all in one with wireless N. In the long run it saves money over renting from my cable company. So far so good!

This is a great hard drive with 8 TB of storage however setting up the iCloud Drive was a little bit complicated I had to reformat the drive to get my computer to recognize it. but all things considered it works great and was a great deal for the money.

It was a replacement when my old Modem went out.my cable company had recommend Netgear products. went on best buy store and talk to the sales staff. I was sold

I am happy with the Net gear cable modem. we are using it with our unit to assist with our WIFI connection. I am not an expert with these things, we described our need to the Best Buy employee, he gave us some options, and we made these choices. Working great.

I purchased this modem to replace a SB8190 which had problems that most people know about. Works much better without the latency that the SB8190 had.

I did my research and came to the conclusion at this is the best router I could purchase in a local store for a good price. I'm very pleased with it.

Very easy set up. Great online customer service and support to fix bugs. No problems after 1 year.
