This modem has been very reliable since we set it up. It boots up quickly, as compared to others we have used in the past. It works efficiently and we are very happy with its performance to date.

This is a perfect cable modem for those who would like to experience high speed download speeds from supported providers like Comcast. Set up was very easy and does NOT require a call to Comcast to activate! Recommended!

Returned the arris 6190 for this. Made a great choice.

was tired of resets from spectrum provided modem.... was paying for 400mb service but getting resets every night and randomly throughout day. Those issues have stopped and this has been a rock star!

Bought this modem to replace my last one which was sluggish. Seems nice and smooth. No problems at all and since I have Comcast XFinity it was true to its word on the packaging with quick setup online.

Set up was easy, just plug it in and go. Internet is super fast and reliable. Ive had it for a few weeks now and havent had any issues with it unlike the one you might rent from your internet provider. A+

I have Cox's 150Mbps plan. Coming from a Motorola/Arris 6141 modem that was also DOCSIS 3.0, my speeds improved by about 50%. Where I used to average 120Mbps, getting this modem improved average speeds to 180Mbps (I get 20MBps file download speeds from Ubuntu and Microsoft direct/legal torrents, where I got 7 to 8MBps before). I only upgraded due to my previous modem failing. I read reviews, but when a rep from Cox tier 2 technical support told me that he almost never hears about issues with the Netgear modems, that sealed it. This was well worth the price, and has drastically improved my Internet connection.

I should have been bought this modem instead of the leased modem from Comcast. The system was easy to set up and install and works much faster and more reliable than the original. Should have bought this sooner.

Finally I now have coverage and speed 4 all my toys

I purchased a new modem to go with our new internet upgrade with Cox. Our last modem was a dinosaur, so to me, this one is fantastic. Nice size, shape, not a bad look to it, pretty sturdy, not to imply that it is not and not in a way that should deter you from purchasing it, but the base to the unit could be a little more solid. The air circulation seems quite adequate for the unit, I have had no problems with overheating, and to keep it clean I just spray it every now and then with compressed air. Overall, I'd recommend this unit. +

Purchased this modem as recommended by a friend.This modem is wonderful and has made surfing the net a joy.It is super fast and easy to set up,And the best things is I don't pay Time Warner Cable any rental fees.

Great cable modem. Not Gigabit but I'm only getting 110 Mbps anyway. Better then renting from Spectrum at $10 a month. Good investment.

Great for our high internet speed through our provider. Their own modem didn't seem to be doing its job so I went ahead and purchased this and haven't had issues since. Set up was easy.

I originally purchased a netgear cg3000d about 1-1/2 years ago, and it worked wonderful. Imagine my dismay when I was required by my ISP to use their modem, they had recently sent me via mail courier. When I heard the were going to charge me another installation fee and a reoccurring monthly fee, I sent all equipment back and told my provider I would just purchase my own. And that's why I went to Best Buy; there I found a plethora of choices, but unfortunately I was on a budget that afternoon. I really wanted the version of my modem with a built-in wifi router, my circumstances pushed me into buying this model. But it was a great buy; it works better than expected. Now that I have paired it with my wifi router, all my devices are connected.......YEAH!!!
