Best Buy was super helpful in knowing what I needed. The Netgear Cable Modem is super fast and easy to set up. I now have a couple of home wifi setups that will extend the Netgear Cable Modem. Great price too. DOCSIS 3.0 matches Xfinity.

I expected 2 things: 1) A nighare trying to get it provisioned on my ISP network. 2) I was going to lose speed because it wasn't their product. Wrong on both counts. Setup was very easy, no issues with cable company, and after checking the bandwith, it was the same as I had prior.

I recently moved from so cal to nor cal b/c of my career. I had to get a new service provider (at&t) which was hands down the WORST service/customer service I have ever experienced. I made the decision ro switch to X-finity, but i opted to use my own equipment. I read great things about netgear and decided to give them a chance. Not only do I have lightning internet, but I also don't pay the extra $18 equipment rental fee. I highly recommend any netgear products. (My condo is 988 sq ft so i went with the 700 model).

When Xfinity upgraded my Internet speed, I needed a modem that could keep up with it. Cut to me online researching modems and routers and learning that sometimes there’s a modem router combo. I learned from techie people that there is a huge advantage to buying your modem separate. They said they’ve had the same modem for years while they’ve had to upgrade their routers as technology evolves and changes. They told me that I should be willing to spend money upfront on a good quality high-speed modem. And that’s exactly what I did! This modem allows me downloading speeds of up to 1.2 GB and a 5G network. 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

I upgraded my Motorola SB-6141 because speeds drop frequently. I was researching for other brands since I only Used Motorola brand modems. I decided to try the Netgear CM-700 because of its price,Downstream and upload channels. Ever since the install, speeds been very good no drops at all.lights on modem are green and doesn’t illuminate the whole room like the Motorola modem. I do recommend this router if you want great speeds for streaming,gaming, and connect multiple devices at once.

Excellent modem. Seems to work great with my NetGear Orbi mesh wifi system. Provides a strong signal throughout the whole house. I get a consistent signal as my internet provider claims (400 Mbps). I'm very happy with both NetGear products. Note: this modem is for use with a cable provider like Spectrum in my case. This will not work for fiber or dsl system providers).

It works great for streaming! It’s much smaller than the Time Warner / Spectrum Modem. This allows me to place it behind the TV on my fireplace mantle.

Easy to install. Made my life easy. Having to learn more about technology and this product was easy to figure out what I needed to do for setup

Working well and it was easy to set up. Im no expert on these things but i got it going in my own.

It works great! I had to have a little help from my internet provider, However no problems at all. It was stated to be Top of line because of its capabilities. I highly recommend to everyone if it’s compatible with your provider.

Works good with Sparklight Internet service. Compact size that runs quiet and cool. Works great with my Netgear router.

This thing has changed my whole family’s life. When our children come to visit it covers all 4,000 square feet of our home with a strong signal in any part of the house.

I don’t get the speed it says. My internet plan is of 800Mbs.

After recently increasing my internet speed, I needed a compatible device that would work with Xfinity's signal. This was a recommended device and had the best reviews/ratings across multiple sources/reviewers online. I wanted the best price and was able to get it at an amazing price from Best Buy. It arrived the next day and the transition from my old gateway was seamless. It's been working great and the speed of my service is now significantly better than before.

The NETGEAR- 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Is SPECTACULAR! The performance has made a HUGE difference in my gaming & internet experience. For the price you just can't beat it. The size is actually a bit smaller than I expected which is good as it fits PERFECTLY right where I need it. Before I purchased this modem the problems I was having while gaming was very frustrating. It was to the point of INSANITY! I called my Internet provider and we took my speed test which was ridiculous for the amount of GBPS I was paying for each month. Even the Customer service Rep was shocked. She then affirmed the fact that I needed a new modem thus I told her of the NETGEAR -32 X 8 DOCSIS 3.0 in which I had seen some good reviews for. Additionally It's compatible with my internet service provider. Upon receiving this modem it was a breeze to set up, I simply called my ISP & read the numbers/letters model etc. All done within 3 minutes. We ran the speed test & WHAT A TREMENDUS DIFFERENCE this modem made! Within minutes I was gaming like I hadn't gamed in years. This modem is the wisest investment I've ever made to accompany my hardware. The delivery time was Incredible as I had ordered it one evening & the modem was delivered to my door the next afternoon at 1:00 pm. Overall I'm EXTREMELY PLEASED with the performance, size & look of the NETGEAR-8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem & it's perfect for my Ethernet set up.

Worked well for 4-5 months then crapped out. Too late to return but fortunately Netgear sent me a new one after some tech support and shipping the broken one back.
