This is a great modem for those with needs for a newer modem. I bought this and a new WiFi router bc I was only getting 12MBPS speed on my WiFi when I was supposed to get up to 60MBPS. Come to find out I just needed to upgrade the WiFi router, and my 6-8 year old modem rated for speeds up to 150MBPS was still completely adequate. I even called my internet provider and found out 100MBPS internet was available for the same price I was paying for 60, so I upgraded, and my old modem handles those speeds just fine too. I was able to get the 60/100MBPS fine once I upgraded the router alone.

set-up relatively easy, small but powerful. Immediately upped my speeds to let me use the amount of data that I am actually paying for. still lacking in overall connection speed but I am also in the process of upgrading other equipment

I have been using a Netgear Modem and router since 2008. I am highly satisfied with its performance and quality.

In the 6 months that we've had this router, we've only needed to power down and back on two times. We have Comcast 600mbps. It's consistent and keeps our house internet going. We were able to set it up using Comcast online service instead of having to call which was nice.

I just got new Suddenlink internet nearly 2 months ago and I wasn't down for paying monthly modem rental fee. I have the 400mbs internet plan. With this modem, I get on average 420mbs so I get the full speed of my plan without the modem fee. Accompanied with a Google wifi 3-router system, I get good, consistent, fast internet reliable for video calls, streaming services and my work from home environment. Haven't had any issues to date.

Easy to install -- no issues with performance - operating will with Spectrum ISP

I wanted to replace my modem with my cable provider to enhance the speed I was paying for. I was underperforming before buying this modem. My house is connected and this does an amazing job. I paired this with a quality Nighthawk router and couldn’t be happy with the results. I did a lot of research before I bought this one. Downside is it only has one LAN port. That could easily be fixed by purchasing a switch. Minor inconvenience for better specs.

Working pretty well so far since I bought it, specially when all my kids are using the internet to keep distracted during vacations

We bought this modem when our connection was continuously unstable since we both work from home, we needed a reliable modem. Netgear has been the best choice and will never buy anything else.

I gave up on DSL internet and decided to move to cable. In the past I've used a combo modem/router but decided to go separate this time and chose a Netgear Nighthawk Router and this Netgear Modem. The modem was so easy to set up. I had everything ready to go and the installer was in and out quickly. We've had great speeds, no problems at all. I've always been happy with Netgear products and am happy to be back using Netgear. Highly recommend this modem.

Device worked line it should but make sure you check with your internet service provider. This was on their list but was not the recommended one and would not activate through my internet service provider.

I purchased this Netgear CM700 modem to replace my old modem/router from Netgear. It was very easy to set up with Spectrum, and once coupled with a new Asus router, it delivered speeds well in excess of 200 Mbps on Spectrum's Standard Internet plan. These speeds far exceeded those that I had been getting under Spectrum's Turbo Internet plan with the old device. It certainly paid to upgrade.

Must purchase for any compatible ISP! Have had this for over a month now and haven't had any issues what so ever with this modem. The setup took a few minutes and was very easy to follow. I've also received the same provided internet speed from the loaned ISP Modem/Router, but now don't need to pay for a monthly fee.

So far, I had 0 problems with this. Installation is not super easy as you have to call the cable company and provide MAC Address. They do have an "online" portal to do it yourself, but you will get a message that something went wrong and to call them, so their self-service piece does not work. Other than that, I connected it to Google mesh, and I had 0 problems ever since using this. Spectrum modem I had to restart occasionally to get the internet connection back.

We had to purchase this modem to support our upgraded internet speed and it's wonderful! We stream a lot and this modern allows us to stream and do things in our cellphones simultaneously without any issues!! I definitely recommend it!

I needed the best that I could comfortably afford and I got it in this NETGEAR modem. It's compatible with SUDDENLINK and saved me a HUGE amount of hassle with them. I highly recommend this product for your own homes and to solve that frustrating and money consuming renting modem from your cable/net provider situation. It handles wonderfully, we no longer have periods of slow net thanks to others using their own devices at the same time.

Upgrading your router and modem is absolutely worth the money. You can have the fastest internet but if you router and modem are subpar it doesn't matter. I was having LOTS of issues running my ever increasing Wi-Fi products at my home. I increased speed and it still didn't work. Talked to my local best buy associate and he recommended using a separate modem and router and upgrading to this unit. MONEY WELL SPENT. I now run numerous smart home products, tablets, phones, and stream all my TV and have no buffering issues at all!

Bought this as a replacement for my Arris Surfboard and its super fast and easy to install. I have a 400mbps connection and this helps get decent speeds across 9 devices in the house. I'd recommend calling Comcast after setup to make sure it's configured properly, as I had a small hiccup even after I followed the steps. Only con is that the coaxial cable tightness makes it sit a little funny.
