Nice compact switch for home use

Ethernet

The modem that came with the internet service only had a couple of open ports. I bought this modem to expand the number of jacks so I could connect the other lines and make the jacks live for ethernet. It has worked well. It is small and light and easily fits in the homerun cabinet.

I have a PS4, a RPi running kodi, and a Mac running off this from a nighthawk and everything works fine. My main concern was lag while gaming but so far so good. Eventually I will upgrade to the nighthawk ethernet switch but so far I have no complaints.

Easy setup

While I had an older one, I did not want any slowdown for my tv. This switch is really plug and play. Plug it into the port on the wall and then plug in the tv and solar monitor. Nothing left to do. It works great
