This was one of the simplest installs I've done. I plugged it in to the existing router and I had my additional ports at the speed I wanted in no time at a great price point.

I have three on my network installed over the last few hears. All PnP on one step install - even cascaded.
I have one serving three ip cameras and a computer; cascaded to a second one; then it to a 8 port one; then it to a four port Cisco AC/gigabit router. My other one has four media center devices hooked to it feeding into the router. I just bought another one today for a spare since it was on sale. I'm very happy with all of them. I check for internet speeds every day and consistently get great readings down and up.

I use this switch on my desktop to split my internet connection between three additional computers. It performs this task admirably, with a small desktop footprint. it is lightweight, which is only a problem in that the positioning of it means that the cable weight from the edge of the desk can pull it towards the edge, but this isn't enough of an issue to call it a "bad thing". I bought two of these for two different desks and I'd buy another if the need arose.

It's not the most attractive product in the world with its white plastic shell case, but it works just fine. I got this to mount behind my TV to network the TV, a game console, and a computer to the wall. It functions at full gigabit speeds and was "plug and play." The wall jacks in my house hook up to a Netgear ProSafe switch in the basement, and there was no configuration necessary to extend the network. I always have a great experience with Netgear products -- my last switch from them has lasted over 10 years of continuous use.

I a new WiFi 6 TP-Link Mesh system. Unlike the previous Netgear WiFi setup I had with multiple Ethernet Ports, the new TP-Link only two Ethernet ports. This 5 Port Netgear unit is perfect to solve this dilemma. It is a well made product and works right out of the box. Easy solutions to adding the extra Ethernet ports I needed. Works Great!!

This thing works great. My Wifi 6 router only had three 1GB Ethernet ports on it, so I added this to one of the ports and put my Apple TV, Mac Mini, Sony TV, and PS5 on it. Download speeds are great for everything connected to it. Just plug it in and it’s ready to go. It’s very small, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Good Basic Ethernet Switch

Needed an ethernet switch to manage a Philips Hue Bridge, Apple TV, and Samsung Smart TV. This is smaller in size than I expected, which I don't mind since it takes up a smaller footprint. Worked easily right out of the box and integrated seamlessly with my Google Nest Wifi points. This is pretty basic but should meet the needs of most people who just want to expand the number of wired ethernet ports available to them.

I like the size and the look of it. It's truly plug and play. Not much to say, it seems to be working fine. An internet speed test shows that the devices that are hard wired to it are getting the full 300 Mb/s that I pay my ISP for. Netgear is known for its networking hardware and it doesn't disappoint with this device.

I bought this as I needed some extra ports for some extra devices on my network. It works as intended, without any need for setup. The router it's plugged into recognized it without issue and handed out IP's from DHCP just fine. No impacts on speed either. I highly recommend this if you need to add some extra devices.
