Robust easy switching.

Used them in a Dante (audio over IP) environment where POE was required for the devices. Had to connect a few AOIP devices a long ways away from my main switch and was past the POE limits of my cable and devices. Was easier to put this inline than trying to find a POE injector. And I have the added benefit of some spare throw down switches for whatever reason comes up.

Excellent 8-port Gigabit PoE switch

Got it originally for connecting PoE capable streaming cameras used for church services. Used it for a year with no problem or issue. Have since replaced it with a multi-gig netgear switch with PoE+ but I still use this one at home for testing and maybe in the future for PoE security cameras. You can't go wrong with this switch.

It works flawless. The QOS is great to prioritizing ports, but I had to run speed test a couple of times for the switch to maximize speed on each port. It's nice to have software to monitor and control the ports. I'm a network guy and was pleased with it.

My wife is working from home and I wanted to separate and limit bandwidth to my wife's work computer. I was able to set the port her computer is connected to, allowing it to be limited in bandwidth and on a VLAN, unable to view or access any of the other devices in my network. The improvement in the internet performance in the rest of the house has been quite noticeable.
