Nice switch, haven't had time to download the software yet. Been busy putting out other fires on my network. I installed it and it plugged everything in and it works great. When I get time I will download the software and mess with configuration. As it stands now it it works fine.

Great PoE Managed switch. I am using for my network lab type activities since it has port mirroring available. Used it a couple of times already and it is super easy to use and setup. I was mirroring an IP phone port within a couple of minutes of unboxing.

Needed a switch in order to prepare for a home Wifi/Router change. I use a Cat8 cable for the uplink from the router and dedicated a few internal IPs in my new Router Config to make accessing the config on this switch simpler. Runs 24x7 without any problems.

Works perfect, I was worried I may lose some speed but this switch proved me wrong. Great option if you have 20+(smart outlets/ security cameras) items using your wifi signal. purchased to use on Apple TVs, TVs and Computer, no loss of speed at all!

It's a great piece of equipment for the price. The only thing I would push back on is the fact there are only 4 POE ports. To me, this is a disadvantage, especially if you have the need of more POE devices without paying through the nose for the proper switch. Otherwise, it works just as it should.

Have all of my network data storage funelled in through this, and it works well with the network as well as the individual networked devices. Not a 'smart switch' so don't get it if you need expandable features.

I usually rely on Netgear products when I enhance or upgrade my digital domain. Have a need to expand your ethernet port population? Then this is the product for you. Either powered or not, there are enough ports to solve any standard home-based connectivity problems.

If you are looking for a solid splitter that will allow fast speeds and and solid network access instead of WiFi, you can't go wrong with this. NETGEAR has always been solid with these and still are. Worth the buy.
