Need POE for my cameras in order to not chew up wireless bandwidth. While not everyone can have cat5 running to the places they need, this little device did exactly what I need to provide the power and ethernet connection to my cameras.

Absolutely Great Product! My xfinity modem only comes with 2 ethernet ports and 1 is already dedicated to our home xfinity router. So with just 1 port left this Netgear device provides 8 new ports all with gig speeds for my gig internet. A++++++++

Works just as advertised. 4 slots for POE and the other 4 work as regular gigabit networking.

Good upgrade to a regular un-managed switch. With the proper configuration, it's like having multiple switches in one. POE is good as I can use it to power my router, so instead of 2 power plugs, I use only one.

This is a pretty straight forward product and easy to use. I have not had any issues with the PoE ports or the standard ports. If you need a quick and easy PoE solution, this would be it.

The switch is compact and I am currently using all 8 ports with no issues or delays in connectivity. Very efficient when wiring your entire home for cameras and multiple PCs.

Easy to use, make LAN parties simple and many options in the menu. Quick connections, plastic feel to it is my only complaint but still seems sturdy enough to throw in the gig box.

It works super smooth, it is perfect to power up some IP cameras and bring em online, as well as connecting other devices, everything working super fast thanks to the gigabit speeds.

Replaced a much older switch that was having problems. This was a bit of an upgrade as is provides POE on 4 ports. Just plugged it in and it worked even though my network's IP addressing is not default.

This switch will be primarily used as a media switch i.e. Smart TV, Roku Ultra, Nintendo Wii, InkJet Printer, and an Intel NUC. So far no POE devices but the option is there if needed.

No issues at all on either the POE or the regular hub side of the switch. You can manage the switch if you'd like, or just leave it alone to do it's default thing. I bought this to run some security cams.
