The switch is great for the price. It has 8 GB ports w/ 4 of them being PPoe. The switch also has basic management capabilities to include vlans. I have 3 of these and have had no issues with any of them.

I was installing four Cameras that needed POE as a power source. This switch provided exactly what I needed. I would recommend this switch for anyone with a similar need.

I went looking for a poe switch in Best Buy and to my amazement they had one! Wow Best Buy actually had a helpful networking tool and it was in stock!

Great little switch that has 4 POE ports to boot. Fanless, so it is quiet. Metal housing to help dissipate vs cheap plastic. Netgear is best in SOHO class.

This compact switch is feature packed and perfect for a home network application. Easy to use for the plug n play or advanced user. Good buy.

I tend to migrate to Netgear for my internet needs. This port has worked without flaw and was very easy to set-up. Would recommend, provided you have a bit of knowledge re: ports.

When purchased it looked like a challenge to connect and configure,but as the quickstart instructions were implemented it became apparent that the unit is a breeze to install. I'm glad to have purchased the unit for it really works well with all our Netgear wi-fi routers and x-finity based services.

Needed a POE switch - - easy install - I hate that manufacturers count the ethernet IN port as a port - since its NOT available as an OUT port if used as an IN port so technically an 8 but only 7 available.

I needed to quickly test an outdoor camera which required an Ethernet connection using POE. This unit worked perfectly for my needs without any special configuration.

Great little switch and form factor. The VLAN configuration can be a little confusing, but it works great once you figure it out.

This device was super easy to install into my network. Just plug it in and attach ethernet cables as needed. Sturdy design and works as advertised.

Works as expected. No login to the switch (this device) was required for setting up my three PoE IP cameras, which was convenient.

Installed a new access point that required Power over Ethernet. This dose it's job. Getting maximum available speed on all ports and no errors.

The switch is perfect for what we needed. Obviously no issues setting it up... pretty much plug & play.

These 8 port switches are great. The work flawlessly and I have never had to send one back. They provide local traffic routing to device on the same switch.

It was easy to install. Directions were right on. Plug and play for the most part. Would definitely use it again.

I bought this NETGEAR - 8-Port 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Smart Managed Plus Switch because i needed more ports and so far so good.

Though it’s a little expensive for an 8 port. It offers a lot of features and works amazingly well. Very pleased with my purchase.
