    No problems with the modem on Comcast. You can self-activate online (will bring up portal when you try to browser) or you can call in.

    I don't know why I waited so long to quit paying rent to the Cable company. This modem will pay for itself in just a few months, and my internet is much faster now.

    I was looking for a modem to get out from underneath the Time Warner rental fees, and this one was perfect. I have a Netgear wireless router, so I knew I liked their products. This modem was simple to hook up, came right up when talking to Time Warner to switch it over, and has worked perfect since. The fact I got it on sale (and so it will pay for itself in just 4 months!) was even better.
