    Not a whole lot to say about straightforward, slightly dated tech such as a standalone modem. Initial install was easy, it does the job I need it to. Net gear genie is garbage though, upgrade immediately if you plan to tweak your network beyond assigning a password.

    Purchased to replace TWC unit and save money. Setup was easy and unit worked perfectly. I called and gave numbers they needed and it has been working better than the TWC unit. Definitely recommend.

    Modem easy to set up. However, had some intermintent connection problems. The Netgear customer service was terrible.
