This was the approved modem for cable carrier. Decent price and easy to set up. No problems so far

Bought it when comcast said my modem was the issue. It wasn't but before I could return this modem lightning took out my other one. So this one was put to work. Set up easy peazy. Has opportunity to speak with their support line while trying to convince comcast and was very much impressed with Netgear's support. Been up and running for a few weeks and I get good coverage and as good a connection as comcast manages.

This product claims to work with Time Warner Cable. Even Time Warner says so on their website. However, after 1 day to up to a week (according to Time Warner customer service) they've had issue with this model on their network and crashes intermittently. The product is probably good, but I wouldn't recommend if you are a Time Warner user. After about 5 days for me, I had to return it and replace with a Arris that has now been stable for about a month so far.

THE PLACE WAS A ZOO LAST THURSDAY, WE HAD TO FINALLY SHANGHAI A GUY WHO WAS DEALING WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER. WHEN WE DID CORRAL HIM HE WAS VERY GRACIOUS AND HELPED A LOT.

This was required by Comcast to upgrade the device our the computers will have problems, no issues but still had to pay to get it working correctly

I bought this for a family member to avoid the modem rental fees. There was a little concern the MediaComm would not accept this, but they did. Now she is saving $5 a month. She would never require service over 340Mb and this will pay for itself in the first year. Win, Win! If you don't need blistering fast service or IP phone service, this is an effective and affordable cable modem to spare yourself the monthly rental fee.

Switched from DSL at top speed of 1.5 mbps on a good day to cable at 100 mbps. Needed a new modem for the cable. After the cable technician called in the modem ID, the modem has operated at the specified speed without a glitch. Also this modem is RF resistant (I am a Ham radio operator) while my last DSL modem always needed to be rebooted even with appropriate RF grounding and chokes. I am pleased with this product.

We were looking to get rid of my mothers cable modem she was renting. I reviewed a number of products online. We then went to the store and the Best Buy associate actually recommended this product. It was the least expensive and he said that all the needs for the local cable company. I brought it home I was able to install it right out of the box with no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend this product.

The netgear modem is the chepest in the range and is working good for me

Takes up very little space. Operates as well as a large modem that takes up much more space.

Modem was purchased for my Dad, who is pushing 70, it was very easy to setup and easy to use.

If you want to install at your house, go for it. It will be enough.

My old modem was working find but I wanted to try and see if I could get more speed. Did research on modems and this one seemed to have good reviews and works with Comcast Xfinity. Plus I was upgrading my wireless router with the NetGear so wanted to keep modem the same. My speeds did increase quit a bit and set up was easy. So far our internet has been running faster and more stable. Glad u bought it!
